Beautiful traditional Welsh pub out in the middle of nowhere. Went for Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. Tasty and generous portions. Sat in the bar as had the dog with us but the restaurant area looked lovely. Highly recommend.

We went here for a family meal. Getting here was an experience in itself as our route took us along steep, winding, single lane country roads, with few car passing passes, but fortunately few people needing to pass. The pub is on the side of the hill so as you look out the windows see the angle of the road. The food was very good especially when you look at the prices : £15.99 for locally sourced rump steak. We fed a family of four with two courses for about £75. The puddings also went down well, all served with ice cream.

Lovely country pub in a very quiet location. Staff are very friendly. The service was great when we were there. A very warm pleasant atmosphere inside the pub. Only downside unless you know where it is you won't find it. Signs need tobe made advertising it

Never thought to have food here before, but went and tried it for the first time tonight with my children and our farm friends, and fair play the food I had (hunters chicken, chips and salad with a side of mushrooms) was amazing.Not sure of the name of the lady, but she was very helpful and went out of her way to fetch their broadband router downstairs so that my autistic son could connect to their wi-fi to try and make it a more pleasant experience for him, (I really appreciated that, thank you very much?).Will definitely come again soon
