The hotel was as expected. The rooms well equipped and the breakfast was above average on my opinion. One very satisfied customer ?. Reason for 4 out of 5 stars? It would have to be extraordinary for me to give 5 stars ?
Rooms: Well equipped and clean. The bed was very comfortable ?
Nearby activities: There is a Harvester next door (note: closes 22:00) and a service station on the other side of the island.
Safety: The reception is maned over night.
Food and drinks: Excellent "Unlimited Breakfast"

Clean comfy but watch the all you can eat breakfast they order from you and ask how many sausages bacon etc ITS NOT COOKED LIKE A BUFFET STYLE.
So don't ask for 245 beans and 17 fried eggs as it won't happen.

Dated interior, but the usual Premier Inn welcome and ease of booking. Brewers Fayre next door is not affiliated with the hotel and can get very busy, so book that ahead too if you want to eat there.

The service is always outstanding, and the food delicious, cooked fresh and a great choice, staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing is to much trouble, it's a great location for us as we have family in pontypool.
On the negative side, the rooms are very out dated and could definitely do with redecorating, the bed was not the usual standard very uncomfortable, so we did not have a great night sleep, (110) appeared to be a old mattress, usually have a great night sleep at this premier in.

Stayed here once before, came back yesterday and wasn't disappointed. The receptionist was really lovely, friendly, welcoming, room was lovely and clean, everything you need, cooked breakfast was amazing, Rhi was serving and taking orders, lovely lady, welcoming, friendly, chatty, highly recommend this place 10?

Our host at breakfast Rhi was very welcoming and Alison cooked a lovely breakfast with a smile. The receptionists couldn?t be more welcoming and helpful.

Great place to be service is excellent staff very helpful and friendly ??
Rooms: Very spacious plenty of electrical sockets for phone chargers and other stuff.
The free WiFi is decent.
Food and drinks: Breakfast all you can eat is done fresh to order.
Tea and coffee facilities in rooms.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner over the weekend for the Comic Con. Was amazing. The room was immaculate. The employees were fantastic and was just an overall amazing experience!
Rooms: Very spacious with a double bed, own bathroom, wardrobe, desk and little sofa. It had a place to hang some clothes up and so much storage too!
Nearby activities: There was a Harvester basically outside of the hotel so dinner one night was sorted but not too far away from anything else really!
Food and drinks: They had unlimited breakfast (cooked and continental) for only £10.99! (Comtinental only £8.99 i believe!) Great variety of foods and drinks and you could easily tell reception if you wanted breakfast the day before.
Noteworthy details: The staff here was absolutely amazing and super friendly! Always happy to have a chat and ask us about our days! Definitely will be coming back if we're in the area again!

Stayed overnight here on June after a visit to the coast. Stayed here one night in order to spend time with family before my return home.
The room which I requested on the ground floor for mobility reasons was perfect. Great shower in bathroom lovely double bed and kettle plus tea and coffee.
I paid for the breakfast the following morning which was hot freshly prepared and as much as you wanted. Fruit, cereal, yoghurt and a very good selection of hot standards eggs scrambled bacon sausage mushroom etc.
The hotel is clean and conveniently located and very good value for money. I'll definitely return here when visiting my family and homeland.
Rooms: Rooms have keycard for entry and electricity.
Good size comfortable beds, tv and tea coffee making facilities
Safety: The car park is secured with a barrier. Daily code given on arrival.

So I just checked into Pontypool, given key card for 218, upon letting myself in the occupier was clearly upset that I had disturbed him smoking his joint. Reception staff couldn't care less. Absolute toilet.
