I attempted to get a form of indemnity for lost share certificates signed by the bank. This form is an industry standard form, demanded by the Financial Conduct Authority. It can only be signed by your bank. The bank refused point blank on two occasions to sign it - and suggested I try another bank. "The computer said no"... read full comment
