We were only in the area for a family funeral and only stayed for a pint though the menu looked ok for a snack. Pleasant fella behind the bar. A bit limited on choice of beers. Quiet for a Friday evening and those present were regulars enjoying their darts and pool. Seems to be more of locals venue but pleasant enough.

Had a really bad experience recently in this pub. I visited a friend who lived locally and we popped in for a quick drink at 10pm one weekend night. They overcharged me for 2 drinks and a regular got in my face straight away and started going off about me being a policeman(which I am not). My friend warned me it could be a rough pub...which I don't mind...though I do mind being overcharged for drinks and drunken regulars getting in my face...really bad.. The one positive was the bar staff were friendly and noticed we were not enjoying the 1st experience of this pub! Sorry guys you need to attract new people and change your ways! The chairs were also stacked up on tables and looked as if they were closing early?

Nipped in for some lunch with my daughter. Lovely atmosphere, great staff with a very friendly kitty and dog running about which my daughter loved. Food was lovely apart from the onion rings they were just batter really no onion detected but when I mentioned this they were lovely about it and returned the money that I paid for them. All in all will visit again.

Rachel and Kayleigh are assets to the company and community. Pub mascot Simba is friendly and cute. Wonderful place to be. Raspberry woo woo cocktail is outstanding and bubblegum ice-cream is to die for. Need to add macaroni cheese to the

The Farmers I have been here for years, but as a result of their change in policy to: You can only come if you buy a meal! I haven't been back here since, unfortunately. But if this has changed, then a response from them reference this would be ? great. Their food is very good normally and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Other than that, I would recommend meals or group bookings.

Really surprised at how downhill this pub has gone. It really does not look like it does in the pictures. Man in the restaurant was quite rude got told to sit in the bar which was really rough. Disappointed. Bar lady pleasant but not the place to take family to.
