We came here after a long walk and it was delightful. Two of us had the Welsh High Tea, two the traditional, but it was all fresh scones, cakes, bara brith, sandwiches with great tea and coffee. The people were lovely and this place is worth seeking out.It is dog friendly too!Not great for gluten free.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly.

Delightful little cafe with super friendly staff, and also dog friendly! We came in half an hour before they closed but they were still able to do us traditional afternoon tea and the Welsh afternoon tea, which both had homemade scones which were delicious. The Bara Brith is the best I've ever had!Lovely lovely lovely!Cash only establishment.

Tried this cafe for brunch. Great decision. We had full Welsh breakfast, inc. Sausage, bacon, eggs, tomato, mushrooms, beans, super thick toast and a pot of tea (served in proper tea pot and cups). Kids had sausage & bacon butties (on super thick bread). All food was excellent, good portions, and all for a very reasonable price. Cash only. Really nice old fashioned cafe / tea room and really nice staff. Would definitely recommend.

We walked to the village from the Tyddn Du campsite which is about a mile away along the old road. It's cash only but huge helpings and great value. If I am lucky enough to return I'll make sure I haven't had any breakfast beforehand. I'll then have a go at the full breakfast.
