Went here as a spur of the moment, and realy glad I did, we ordered the the three courses for £13.95 of their lunch time menu. Food was very tasty and enough of it. Staff were friendly and helpful, pity they didn't have any thatchers zero, Hey you can't have everything ?

We had our christmas choir night here as we normally do every year. What a wonderful evening, the food was lovely and hot and tasty.
Maybe some of the younger staff could do with a bit of training in how to speak to the public, but other than that good evening all around, I think we even entertained some of the guests staying at the hotel.

I am delighted to say we will return and perhaps book a roast lunch. Thanks to waters, the tea we had was promptly served, and the savouries, cakes, ect, arranged with loving care, tasted delicious. ?

Food was well presented and delicious.Kid-friendliness: The staff were lovely and very kind ? a very inclusive environment. On another occasion the staff were very patient with my son who has autism. Choice can be difficult and requires staff to take their time. And they did without question ?Wheelchair accessibility: This establishment is very accessible to push hairs and wheelchairs.

Great staff..very attentive and professional with great food at affordable prices.. we will be back though book to avoid disappointment..Sunday roast are just amazing as with the menu too.

When I arrived my family were already sat at the table. It was a warm day so I picked up a glass from the table to have water. It was so dusty it looked opaque, my cutely was all dirty. My starter came (mushroom) the pasty was soggy and under cooked. The children had pizza ( limited basic child?s menu) it was the quality of a basic unbranded super market value pizza. Cheese just melted no colour. I definitely think it needs a new hygiene assessment, When I spoke to the staff (all young, no senior member) I was told to ring or email. I?ve done both since and to date no reply. It could be such a wonderful place. It just looked said and run down.

Went for Sunday carvery first off never been to such a strange carvery no one informed us of how to proceed very long wait for food. I will never return food terrible meat you could not cut afters all very dry we were all disappointed

Food was a massive let down. All courses excluding dessert were very oily / greasy and gave us a queasy feeling for both myself and partner. The only positive of the restaurant was the service provided. The only reason the score isn?t lower is due to a good breakfast and good service from Tricia.
