Absolutely appalling pub with practical children(21) running the bar half the time with bad attitudes and a landlord who does nothing about it and backs the likes of one of his bar maids telling me I can't call someone smashing multiple pint glasses out the front of the pub 'silly because it's her brother. She then proceeded to pace around telling me she wasn't having it when I stood my ground and told her how pathetic she's being, to then turn round and tell me I'll be refused service over it. 70-80% of the people who drink there are suicidal and the other 20-30% simply put up with it as this is one of very few pubs in the area to drink. I've seen many fights in there, the worst when the landlords best friend was being held back by 3 other men swinging for a woman(the landlady's best friend) and not only did the landlord do nothing, but encouraged it and snapped at me not to butt in as it had nothing to do with me when I said how appalling it was! If you want to avoid the low life village prats, and drama that goes with it - do yourself a favour n steer clear!
