The staff are rude and the food is awful!!! There was a mistake with my order and then when i expressed this issue to the waiter he told me to talk to the manager. When i went up to talk to the manager they ignored me, were rude and unhelpful. The waiter was vaping over customers and inconsiderate. The food was cold and unappetising would NOT recommend such a shockingly bad experience. I came to the pub on Tuesday 1st at around 6-7pm.

i came to the pub on Tuesday 1st April at around 6. Staff weren?t helpful and said nothing to us. Not welcoming at all. Atmosphere is ruined by this. otherwise food is okay.

One of my favourite pubs iv been to in a while, really nice pub in Penarth which I didn't realise is a bit bladdy powsh for a valleys boy tradie like myself but as the saying goes "no bluff too tough" and I think I bluffed posh right up until the moment I ejected my recently consumed chicken in white wine supper all over the bus stop like penguin feeding it's young!
The only thing that really let the place down was the men's toilets which had 2 lads who offered to sell me 'a bag' and the cleaning register which had been signed for a few hours ahead of time and was a bit sticky under foot. Other than that it's a nice pub and the beer was beery.

The food was excellent when we visited. Drinks are reasonably priced. Bar area can be busy on weekends which creates a good atmosphere

Bouncers were very rude with me just because I asked to get past them cause they were blocking all the door ways to get in, I get in and then way I go out for a smoke they say I can?t get in because I was ?rude? by asking can I get past you please

The gentlemen behind the bar were as welcoming as warm urine to a hydrated mouth. Zero communication at all and I mean zero? in fact I retract the gentlemen comment.

I pop into the Railway every few weeks, usually a Friday, food is awesome for the price, always looked after by Keeley who fair play is always on the ball with orders being spot on and pretty quick be fair. There?s a main room with big screens for sport, a quieter restaurant and a decent size beer garden with heaters. It?s a staple stop off for me when I?m down there.
Parking: There are a good few slots outside to park but it is on the street.
