Would not recommend this shop, very expensive, usually smells, and they put out dirty clothing. Thinks its a boutique with a terrible layout and cramped space. Prices like £20 for a unbranded jacket, £15 for basic shoes. I think a change of management is in order

Was refused service due to apparent mis-priced goods, the manager said that they were to be put online. I don?t recommend this shop

Sometimes there is an interesting book to pick up but not often and then it is usually very expensive.

Great for donating unwanted items. Park around the back to avoid the congested high street, ring them and they will open the back for you.

This is a good sized Oxfam Shop, and just happens to be my favourite charity shop in the area. I regularly shop at charity shops for two very good reasons. These are that I like to support the cause, and I also like finding the weird and wonderful things that you often find there! Plus, I'm passionate about books... If I were to buy all of my books new, I would be bankrupt in no time! This branch of Oxfam, is pretty well stocked on all fronts! As with all the other Oxfam shops, it is well manned, and professionally put together. I like the fact that they stock new fair trade items as well as the secondhand goods, and it has often proven to be a lifesaver where the coffee is concerned! I have to admit to preferring the Pdsa for books, as they always have a good selection and the prices are half what they charge at Oxfam. Nevertheless, I buy a fair amount f books from here, and I'm grateful that they put them in alphabetical order! (Unlike the Pdsa).

I collect strange and interesting vinyl so you can usually find me at a charity shop knee deep in records on any given Saturday afternoon. This Oxfam has a great collection of weird and obscure ones tucked away somewhere in the corner and as it's usually quite busy, I can hide away and go through them for ages without feeling like I'm being hurried along. I also have a tendency to burn through books at an alarming rate (an extremely expensive habit) so this shop is a godsend. The book section is huge and really well organized. There's a large fiction area as well as a great deal of non fiction/reference all reasonably priced. Oxfam does have some of the highest prices on the charity shop circuit but for books and such, there is no better place in Penarth.
