Great shop but, annoying that they advertise as being open on Sundays but never are.
Edit: I have noticed that they sometimes open later on Sundays (unless thay maybe closed on certain Sundays for breaks or staff shortages) I just think this should be made more clear to avoid customer disappointment.

£3.49 for a SECOND HAND book is absolutely extortionate. The fact people have been complaining about their ridiculous prices for years and nothings changed really makes you wonder why this place hasn?t had to close down. £1.50 MAXIMUM is enough for a second hand book, maybe £2 max for a hardback. Money grabbing fiends in here. Disgusting.
Workers just sit there and sulk behind the counter since no one ever buys anything in there because it?s so expensive. Sometimes when they aren't busy sticking overpriced stickers to everything. They even go as far to exert some energy glaring at customers.
£4.99 for a second hand CD is absurd too, sort it out Oxfam.

A nice, tidy shop with a large book area at the back. I would suggest they stop charging £2.49 for paperback novels so that they get a faster turnover. Most charity shops charge £1-£1.49 for a paperback, especially as The Works only charge £2.49 for a brand new book or 3 for £6.

Would not recommend this shop, very expensive, usually smells, and they put out dirty clothing. Thinks its a boutique with a terrible layout and cramped space. Prices like £20 for a unbranded jacket, £15 for basic shoes. I think a change of management is in order

Was refused service due to apparent mis-priced goods, the manager said that they were to be put online. I don?t recommend this shop

Sometimes there is an interesting book to pick up but not often and then it is usually very expensive.

Great for donating unwanted items. Park around the back to avoid the congested high street, ring them and they will open the back for you.
