Sunday 10th August was a fiasco that quickly descended into chaos. There was no organisation. Arrived at 6am but still waiting in car unable to set up at 7.30. Lots of irate, frustrated people. No explanation or apologies provided. I sent an email requesting an explanation but they didn't bother to reply. They only want your money.

A decent number of real carboot sellers beside the traders. As of 2025, they finally sorted the insane entry queues. Must always check on FB if it's going ahead. It's not like most carboots. This one can be cancelled for any reason.

Excellent 'selling' day at Car Boot sale (4th June). Weather fantastic, location gorgeous, marshaling was excellent, toilets were fine (I know portaloos are not to everyone's taste but they were reasonably clean)...and the buyers...we'll they haggled and bartered...but to a person were happpy to be out in the glorious sunshine...so win win...we all had a good time.

Expensive rummaage. Used to be very good. Pleasent morning. Lovely scenery. Nice food and bar. Dealers go in early looking for bargains then go on to Cowbridge. Used to get a variety of small bargains. Most stalls are toys, cd's or clothes. and brand new basic items. The Fruit are bargains. Coffee and burger stalls are good with seats and tables. Buses always full since other sales closed for good. It is a mornings exercise in a good cause. Good parking. Pleasent volunteers.
