This is my second time ordering from Mint and Mustard. On this occasion, I chose to order directly rather than through an app, hoping to support the restaurant more directly. However, I was disappointed to find that the quality of the food did not match my previous experience.
I ordered the Rogan Josh, but the curry appeared watered down, and the tomato-based sauce lacked freshness. The chicken also seemed less than fresh, raising concerns about whether it had been pre-prepared rather than freshly cooked. Given the noticeable drop in quality, I am unsure whether this was due to an off day or a quieter service, resulting in being served food that did not meet the usual standard.
As someone with experience in food reviewing and a deep appreciation for Indian cuisine, I found this experience underwhelming. If this is now the standard, I would be hesitant to order again. I hope this feedback is helpful in maintaining the quality your customers expect.

We were a group of 8 but at the last minute needed to change to 9, this was no problem at all.
We nearly all had a different dish and everyone enjoyed the flavours of their meal.
The staff were very friendly and helpful especially to my mum who is 90 and in a wheelchair. We chose to come here to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday and am very glad we did. Many thanks to all the team for making the evening so special, we'll be back soon.

Hi having been here for quite a few years I brought my mother here last year at Mother’s Day as they said mothers eat free we were sat by Collin Jackson who was also with his mother they give me the bill and then took my mother off the bill but this year the young waiter told me you have to have children to qualify so I said well I am her child!she is a mother 87yrs old he then said he’d give me a £7 discount which is wrong really as it’s false advertising I don’t think I’ll go there again because what they offer is not what it is not that I’m complaining about the money but it’s the principle of the offer that their offering which don’t seem to be true.

Finally, found a decent Indian since moving to Cowbridge a year ago. The 2 locals ones have become increasingly bland. The food chosen here was thahli: 2 fish, vegan and veggie. Mukul our waitress was very friendly. Around £35 per person for a superior dining experience. No doubt will be back very soon.

Excellent lunch for two. Exceptionally good food. We had the chicken wraps. Beautiful taste. This was was our first time to eat here. We will be returning. The service and ambience was lovely.

The food is very good and there is a wide selection of dishes on the menu. Many cocktails and drinks to choose from. Service is friendly and and attentive.

I ate here last week and it was absolutely wonderful! Food was delicious, staff were absolutely lovely and the atmosphere was so welcoming! I?ll definitely be returning :)
