We as a group of 7 people celebrating a birthday have been a few times but today we waited over an hour for our meal and the only after I complained it arrived one of our party ordered pork so that she would have dauphinoise potatoes and when it came she was presented with boiled with no prior warning I think that was unexpectedly yours a unhappy customer Avril French

Location, parking, ambience, food all great. However our server was not attentive and went missing for long periods.

Another lovely meal here with friends last night. All the food was good and they offered a good choice of gluten free options. Service could do with being more attentive. Difficult to catch their eyes, had to ask twice to get water and they didn't check we were ok with our meals. Overall though I would recommend.

We stopped here for lunch after driving past a few times, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. While the starters were nice, we had to wait a long time for the food, and the mains were very oily and quite tasteless. On a positive note, the staff were kind enough to remove the mains from our bill, but overall, I wouldn?t return.

Tried twice now to eat here. Both times very long wait times. The food is good when it's right, my steak was missing the correct sides and they eventually turned up 10 minutes later. The wait staff seem either quite inexperienced or just disengaged. Unfortunately not sure we'll be rushing back.

Ordered 2 meals and they were brought to our table within 5 minutes. I asked the manageress if they were freshly cooked. Her reply was yes..... Yeh right. The food was mediocre at best....

We visit here annually as a family to remember my dear mother who loved Schooner. There is a good choice of food, including lighter meals for those of us who don't have big appetites. Love the location and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
