I have rented a property with ACJ for two years and we are only leaving as we have purchased our first home.\\n\\nWe found staff to be very friendly and helpful always and even maintenance issues were dealt with promptly and resolved without any fuss.\\n\\nWe also had our deposit retuned in full at the end of the tenancy which has never happened before with previous agents. ACJ kindly recommended a cleaning company prior to our move out, who we found to be superb!\\n\\nHighly recommend this company!\\n\\nQ

Excellent support recently from all the staff at acj lettings. I needed a quick refurb of my apartment in Cardiff Bay and they were able to recommend a decorator, carpenter and carpet shop all of whom pulled out all the stops to help.Great team of people at acj, so many thanks to you all.

So far my correspondence with Alison had been nothing but positive. After the first rental I had agreed on was subsequently let to the friend of the owner, Alison went above and beyond to help me to find somewhere else, a property that I have signed on today. I have never had to rent before and all the other agents either didn?t return emails or simply never answered the phone.

Wanted to take the time to leave some positive comments because as a landlord time is really precious and the team at ACJ are always happy to sort any issues on our behalf. Our tenant had a central heating boiler issue yesterday and within two hours ACJ's central heating contractor had gone out and fixed the leaking boiler. The maintenance team are really lovely and I can strongly recommend ACJ after trusting them with my property management for over three years now. Thanks, Shirley, Alison, ACJ...

ACJ managed the letting of my mum?s house while she was in care and after her subsequent death for more than six years. ACJ did a superb job with good humoured professionalism and were supportive in dealing with us as very amateur landlords. their advice and guidance were worth every penny.

ACJ Have honestly been a pleasure to work with. Particularly Natasha and Victoria who?ve been supportive and addressed all my concerns throughout. I?ve recently moved into a new property and they helped ease the process for a smooth transition. Reason for 4 stars was it wasn?t as clean compared to when I viewed the property however, really grateful for all the help ACJ provided.

We recently sold our property and haven't been able to find a suitable property to buy on. The lettings team at ACJ have been extremely helpful and proactive in finding us a suitable property to rent in the meantime. Whilst the sales team are actively assisting us with our search for the perfect home to purchase, by keeping us in mind for any new properties that come on the market that meet our criteria. Very professional company with efficient and helpful staff! Highly recommend all aspects of the business.

Based on my interactions with ACJ, I would recommend you avoid. They seem to happily adopt some strange policies on advanced rent payment for tenants, placing you at genuine risk if there are problems with your tenancy. There is always another option, so best go with someone else.

I can?t comment on the estate agents but they find tenants for a private landlord called Mike Holmes so I would avoid him and ACJ at all costs. We rented off Mike when I was pregnant and he left black mould in the bedroom throughout the whole of my pregnancy, we were asking for over a year for him to sort it and he only painted over it after living with the mould from December 19 - January 22. Similarly, the fence in our back garden was broken for our majority tenancy and was magically fixed when we handed in notice. During our deposit dispute he submitted a cleaning bill and photo evidence from 3 years before we moved into the property which shows how much of a cowboy landlord he is.

The worst estate agents in Penarth, I took my property portfolio to another managing agent and since then, major improvements are seen. A joke.

Jason and Alison are both excellent agents. They are kind and friendly, efficient, quick and detailed, and very polite to me as a tenant. I really don't understand where the negative reviews come from. Just want to say to some people who have been discouraged from contacting ACJ because of negative reviews, don't worry too much or believe that these may just be unpleasant experiences for some customers, and we don't know who is right or wrong, I will tell you from my personal experience, Jason and Alison, their service is professional, and they all do a good job, no problem at all, my husband and I have a very pleasant service experience. Thank you again for their assistance here.

Awful. Especially Jason Whiteley. Whilst trying to book a viewing he accused my partner and I of lying about our financial situation. Despite this we put in an application to let a property, we then had to chase this up a week later and were told that Jason had called us and we told him we didn't want to go ahead with the property. Obviously that didn't happen, we had not been contacted by anyone and had intended to go ahead with the letting. It seems he took an instant dislike to us and simply did not put our application in to the landlord.
