I thought the price point for the food very good . The menu items are straight forward but I was very impressed with my meal . Beer is reasonably priced and the intimate atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. A treasure for the village in my mind .

Enjoyed the meal and as a little village pub, it was warm an super friendly.If you going to watch a Rugby a match, get there very early, it was rammed but great atmosphere.

We had Sunday lunch here before Christmas and it was amazing. The meats were fantastic quality melt in you're mouth cooked to perfection. Staff friendly and attentive. Highly recommend nice to support a local business.

4 of us eat an evening meal here on 24th November and even though we had different main courses we were unanimous in agreement that the food was superb. To top it all the waitress was knowledgeable and very friendly The final bill which included some excellent desserts was very reasonable priced.My friends all agreed that a return visit was a must!

Had a fabulous meal in the Crofty this evening. The bass was cooked to perfection and fabulous to have local line caught fish as opposed to the farmed version served in so many restaurants today. The service was great and the ambience in the new setting for the restaurant was superb ???? Would highly recommend and we will be back ourselves very soon Thanks

What a lovely place. Stopped here for lunch today, meals we had were the slow roasted beef and chicken in honey & mustard. The food was lovely, reasonably priced and couldn't fault the service at all. The waitress was lovely and a pleasure to be served by. The place looked nice and like it has been undergoing a bit of a makeover. Would definitely call again if in the area

Sorry to be a bit negative but we never got the chance to try this restaurant. Opening hours online were ambiguous and their own website was under maintenance. We turned up for lunch believing the restaurant might be op[en - it wasn't. We phoned to make a dinner reservation and the lady advised they had a large party in that evening. Based on excellent reviews we nevertheless persevered a couple of days later and popped in whilst passing to make a dinner reservation. The barman told us there was 'no food today' despite published opening hours to the contrary. We asked why no food simply to be advised 'she's decided not to open'. So, hope you have better luck than we did.

Absolutely stunning! My first visit to The Crofty since I was a small child. The food is simply delicious. We had 3 starters, prawns in ginger sauce, pork in apple cider and Camembert with onion salsa. We both had the leek & chicken pancake which was incredible. The pancakes are huge and covered in a cheese sauce. Served with peas, carrots, chips and sauté potatoes. So much we actually took some home! When we arrived there were two large tables just about to be served and the young waitress apologized profusely that our order may take some time. She took our order and we got our starters pretty fast so no problem with waiting. Besides the fabulous food the greatest part of our visit was the super professional, super friendly, young waitress. Brilliantly attentive. I?ll certainly be back, maybe to try the Sunday lunch 10/10

Had our first visit today 23.7.23 for Sunday lunch. It was absolutely delicious couldn't fault it. The staff were pleasant and very friendly. We will definitely make another visit soon. Would highly recommend .
