We enjoyed our meals so much we visited for dinner three times whilst on holiday nearby! Service was impeccable and food was delicious. Great specials available and a lovely choice of homemade desserts too. Very welcoming for families/children and good menu choices for children too. Highly recommend but does get busy so recommend booking ahead.

The service was excellent and our dinner arrived remarkably quickly. The tomato soup and smoked haddock fishcake were tasty. The meat lasagne with garlic cheese potatoes & salad was piping hot & fine. It was washed down by a fruity shiraz.
The location of the pub is great close to the Castle & Mill Pond walk in the centre of town. There's some geat views from their outdoor terrace overlooking the pond.

A proper pub with a pool table and dartboard, but also really nice food! The seafood linguine was delicious with a very generous amount of sauce ?

Didn't have food here buts it's a final pub before home for us on a night out. It's got a nice outside area where smoking is permitted by the ponds and thevstaff ate friendly.
