Stackpole under the stars is a fabulous experience. The booking experience was simple and straightforward, the instructions, information and directions were spot on and super helpful. We stayed in the wonderful and fully kitted out glamping pod. It's in the perfect location, with quick access to the town of Pembroke and the beaches of south pembrokeshire. We loved the underfloor heating, the peace and quite and listening to the birdcalls in the morning. Stan and Laura are the perfect hosts, we highly recommend staying with them.

Stayed for a week with our family group in August to celebrate a special anniversary in an area we all know well. Great communications from the start of our booking process onwards, beautifully kept and presented glamping units to suit all of the family and plenty for the children to do within the site. Pizzas were great, the young ones loved the little shop and the axe throwing was good fun. Laura & Stan deserve all the praise they get for the way this site is run, I would fully recommend it and definitely hope to return.

Our family had a really enjoyable stay at Stackpole under the Stars which is a fabulous site. Laura and Stan are clearly experienced campers themselves which means they get all the details bang on - size of pitches, clean facilities, a small shop, pizzas, axe-throwing, playing area for children and - this was a nice touch - a sweet trolley. And for a small site, there?s plenty of accommodation options, ranging from grass pitches to safari tents, yurts and a pod, each with picnic tables, electric hook-up and fire-pits. Can?t recommend enough.

This is a wonderful campsite that has been really well thought out and has everything you could need. Communication beforehand, including directions and instructions for check in, we?re excellent, and Laura and Stan were so welcoming. The camping pitches are very spacious, equipped with bins, a fire pit (available to hire for your stay) and a picnic table, and the shower pods are excellent (I thought they were glamping pods and asked where the loos were ?). The breakfast bakery pre order system was also great (warm raspberry croissants on a Friday morning?? I need say no more) and location wise its perfect for walking and driving to the local beaches. We had a wonderful 4 night stay and will definitely be back, maybe to try the safari tents / pods! Thank you

A lovely Greener Camping small site with the best shower and toilet pods and the most friendly owners. Had a great few days, thanks Laura and Stan. I really don?t want to share how good the local walks and beaches are, somethings are best kept to oneself ?

Perfect location... woodland walks on the doorstep, idyllic beaches around the corner. Spotlessly clean. Friendly hosts. It's Cornwall without all the people. Loved it ?

Another fantastic stay at Stackpole Under the Stars. This campsite has a lovely relaxed feel in a gorgeous location. Perfect for kids to play safely and enjoy the tree swing and other games provided in the games shed. This kept our boy entertained all weekend. The individual shower/toilet pods are brilliant and well kept. Lovely, friendly welcome too. Perfect location to explore the local area. First visit to Broadhaven South beach on a very sunny day was a great ending to our summer. We will be back!

This campsite is an absolute gem of a find, in one of the prettiest areas in Wales. Laura and Stan have preempted every need that campers or glampers may have, and provided for them, from Laura greeting us with the tiny shop produce list to putting very detailed walking routes up so we could explore the local countryside. The welcome pack made sure we knew everything we needed to before our stay, and were able to pre order our amazing wood fired pizzas on the Monday night (10/10!!) The toilet/shower pods were clean and well stocked, and there was never a queue. Highlights (apart from the pizza), was the secluded location, well stocked games shed, trapeze swing for the kids, fire pits, and the axe-throwing class provided by Stan! Which we all loved. An amazing campsite with kind and attentive hosts, we will definitely book a return stay ??

Stackpole under the Stars family run by Stan & Laura was a idillic Campsite in the most stunning area of Pembrokeshire what ever the weather. We, my two children (15 & 17Yrs) stayed in The Pod on site which was utterly gorgeous, so beautifully equipped in a practical but luxurious feeling way. We were in natural surroundings & close to nature which exactly suited our needs, with everything we needed to hand ,from the wet room complete with hot shower ,a stack of soft towels provided , nice hand soap to the very comfy bed under the port hole which I slept so well in. The small but so well organised kitchen to have that important cuppa but the children enjoyed cooking outside on the hob or open fire. Every detail had been considered by Stan & Laura, matches, pegs, washing liquid, logs to make this a completely relaxing break. The site itself is a quiet family space beautifully kept , a hidden Gem with extra's like a Pizza oven , French breakfast morning, Axe throwing & the very important Tiny Shop.Stan & Laura add a very personal touch to your stay in friendly discreet way.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Every detail is given so much thought and attention. Facilities are the best I have experienced in all my years of camping. Stan and Laura make the whole holiday extra special. They are attentive, friendly and welcoming. Don't look at any other places to stay in Pembroke. You won't find anywhere better.

We had such a great time staying in a yurt at Stackpole Under the Stars. It provided the perfect location for a family holiday for 17 of us to be glamping and caravanning on the same site. The location is great, close to Pembroke and lovely beaches. On the site itself I can?t think of anything that could be improved-the toilet/shower pods were well designed and kept clean, as was the wash room with tea towels and washing up liquid provided. We loved the extras like pizza night and pastries from the bakery as well as axe throwing on site. The children loved the swing and football pitch as well as borrowing toys from the games shed. We hope to be back very soon.

Just got back from a weeks camping and what a great little campsite this was, you can see why it has 5 star reviews! We camped with friends, pitch size was great and includes bins/recycling. Short walk to the amenities, the pod showers which are spacious and well kept, washing up facilities which are all provided, fridge & freezer along with a washing machine & tumble dryer (pay for tokens). The kids loved the tree swing and playing games on the football pitch and running around, with limited vehicle access to the area unless setting up/packing away! The owners have a little shop of essentials and local produce which is great, a sweet cart for the kids one evening, but the best night was the pizzas they cook, definitely up there with the best pizzas i?ve eaten? Despite the weather we all had a fantastic stay and will be back one day in the future.

Our second year coming to this gorgeous site. First time in the pod and this time camping. Lovely friendly place with large sheltered pitches, picnic bench and optional hook ups. Love that it?s car free too. Fabulous games shed to borrow during your stay and great central pitch for kids and parents to play on. This really builds friendships with the children and everyone gets chatting and sharing stories of their day. Plenty of hot water for showers and washing up. The tiny shop is excellent with lots of nice quality items and all the essentials. Ossian?s sweet shop with pick n mix is a big hit! We hired a fire pit for the week from Stan which was great for sitting out under the stars. Pizza night is wonderful and a night off from cooking and the French Friday bakery products are heavenly! We absolutely love this beautiful site, the friendly owners, who can?t do enough for you and the stunning area it?s set in. The Stackpole estate is stunning. Already planning next years return. Can?t recommend this place enough.

We stayed in the glamping pod but all the facilities were great - the showers, games shed and pizza night. Laura and Stan were so welcoming and friendly. Possibly 1 of the best sites we?ve gone to in 15 years
