Chips were mostly burnt and batter on fish was too much with very little fish. This is the second time I?ve tried this place recently and was disappointed as it used to be very good.

We had fish and chips here last week and they were perfect! Couldn't ask for anything more from a chippy. Sadly we turned up too late to dine in as I have before so that's worth checking before you go. Good value chips and very near to the estuary which makes for a nice view whilst eating.

Really delicious and filling fish and chips served in a modern restaurant with takeaway also available. Ordering queues seem to be separate between dine in and take away, enabling better customer flow. Location is in great walking proximity to the castle and town centre. However the portions seem to be massive compared to the size advertised, I ordered a small fish and seemed to fit the description of a medium or large one at other locations. Not that I had a problem because it's less money for more, but to some people may find it too big.
