What a fantastic place to visit with some outstanding volunteers and helpers. If you like military and in particular military aviation make sure you visit this place if you are in the area.

Quirky little shop

I chanced upon the Flying Boat Centre and what a revelation! Housed inside the walls of the old Pembroke Naval Shipyard it has been open since 2014. Inside you'll find a good exhibition of the history of the naval shipyard, the town's proud connection with the RAF's Sunderland Flying boat squadrons and lots of associated memorabilia There a pleasant little cafe inside and lots of helpful well informed volunteers in attendance should you have any questions. I would have given 5 stars but this is not the finished product as yet, there are more things planned that will justify 5 stars rating.
