Absolutely fantastic food and atmosphere. Even the kids enjoyed the meal.. All the dishes were excellent especially lamb satkara, chef?s special chicken and lamb naga was delicious.

We had a takeaway on 16/07/2025; Chicken Balti and Chicken Korma with rice, chips, bombay potatoes and garlic naan. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming also. Will definitely be back ??

Wandered in on a busy Sunday night with no reservation and thought we'd give it a try. Tried the balti dishes with rice and determined they were probably the best Indian dishes we've ever eaten anywhere. Menu is deep with a lot of options, and if you're even a little bit in the mood for Indian food you need to stop here.

Have been using Mehfil's for our Indian Take Aways for several years . It used to be excellent , the best in the area !!
We have noticed recently that our meals were not as good as they used to be , in fact our meal yesterday (Monday 9-9-24) was truly awful !!!!!
Some , almost inedible .
The Aloo Chat and Chicken Chat sauces were very watery . The Chicken in the Chicken Korma , Chicken Tikka Korma and Chicken Chat was VERY overcooked and dry , to the point of being inedible !!
Previous Chicken Bhuna and other dishes have been similarly affected .
Lamb dishes have been VERY tough and chewy , not tender as they should be . Dishes described as being cooked with cream !! Well , haven't been able to detect any .
Onion Bhajees have had a slightly mouldy taste , not pleasant at all .
Bombey Aloo has had a similar taint and even smelled of mould .
To sum up :--
Mehfil's USED to be the BEST but unfortunately is now probably the WORST in the area .
I certainly WON'T be ordering anything from there again !!

We're staying in a holiday cottage just up the road and got takeaway away from here. We had the Tandoori Thali to share between two. It was ready really quickly and was more food than two of us could eat. It was all delicious and we would highly recommend.

Eight of us including kids have just had an amazing meal here. Food was fab, service was great. Couldn't recommend highly enough. I was unsure because of the reviews but so pleased we came, it was lovely.
