Expensive for bland food and boring ambience. The staff are busy but cheerful. I had the chicken fajitas, it is meant to be sizzling but came out warm with soggy onions, salsa and other condiment squeezed out of a bottle. The fatitas were not warmed even, straight out of the super market packing. Wife's vegetarian burger was decent. Astronomical prices for mediocre quality. Booking required because of the location but look elsewhere.

Nice chilled area but the staff don't care if you're there and had to wait 20 mins for a coke and latte will not be going again but it's a nice area

We stay at the houses at the back of Jack's. Me and my partner along with 2 children went for a breakfast roll my partner and kids had bacon rolls I had vegetarian sausage and egg roll. My partner and kids did not like the bacon rolls the bacon was too thick and chewy for my children and undercooked. My vegetarian sausage roll I did not like the sausage at all very oniony that however is just my taste I didn't like them not but there is better vegetarian sausages out there. Very expensive my partner didn't have great experiences with staff either. On another day I was served by a lady who seemed lovely serving me my partner had younger servers. For the 4 sandwiches and drinks we waited approximately 30 minutes for which is white awhile for 4 sandwiches and it was quite at the time we went there.

Had breakfast bacon rolls. Completely undercooked, was the bacon, and had bits of burnt debris from the griddle stuck to it... Yummy...
Lock missing off gents toilet door, and a double whammy of no toilet paper! Drinks glasses left on the veranda clearly from the night before. Not great.
Good location on the beach. Always very busy, you have to book for evening food.

Food is fair price. Good range of drinks on draft. Plenty of seating. Shame it wasn't very clean. The men's was a state and all tables on the decking area needed a wipe down. Considering it was before the main lunch period when I visited, simple cleanliness is key

The place was buzzing with families holidaying by the beach, so it's necessary to book ahead of time if you want an inside table and food from the main menu. I was alone and hadn't booked. However, a most helpful waitress got me the best pizza and chips at an outside table. Staff are run off their feet. Atmosphere is happy and dynamic ???

Just stopped in for a coffee on my walk, ordered a latte with oat milk.
£5! It was the most disgusting, awful coffee ive had in a long time! Should have carried on anther few miles to stackpole quey.
Train your staff to make decent coffee its not that hard.

Lovely restaurant close to the beach. Food was good with decent portions. This place does get very busy at weekends as it?s the only place in freshwater east. Booking is highly recommended.

Terrible evening at Jack's. First we were accused of not booking a table which we had done two days before , our fault though according to the staff. Then they got our order wrong which was also our fault . Staff were patronising and certainly needed better training in serving customers. The locals then joined in with the staff ridiculing us which was very embarrassing. The manager though did try to apologise to us and credit to him. Overall a poor experience where the customer is always wrong

We have been there on numerous occasions to use the beach wheelchair and we've always been treated with polite and really helpful staff, the food is great and access to the beach is easy for disabled people. A great place to eat and have a cool drink after a walk on the beach

Not hugely impressed with Jacks. It?s in a great location but I got the feeling the staff didn?t really want to serve you. We stayed in the park for a few days and were told we?d be able to order takeaway until a specific time. Called up before this time only to be told they were too busy. On a Monday night.
Coffee is super expensive there too, like London prices!
