A little piece of history in Pembroke, that has moved with the times and offers a gluten free menu, and a vegan menu including puddings! I had the vegan shepherd's pie and it was delicious.
The decor is like travelling back in time - absolutely loved it! Lovely, friendly and attentive service despite being busy at lunchtime. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

I went in with my dog what a welcome she had! Doggy menu , my dog was presented with a sausage on a plate plus a bowl of water ?
Would definitely recommend this very dog friendly cafe ? plus service with a smile

Probably my most frequented place during my trip - i came in a few times for the breakfast (which was delicious) and once for the soup - which was more filling than i expected! Lovely place, and as an early riser i appreciated it opening at 9 haha

Lovely find for brunch/lunch on a Bank Holiday Monday. Friendly welcome and attentive service. Lots of choice on the menu - breakfasts, snacks and lighter meals, full meals and kids selection. Food was cooked beautifully, well presented and plentiful. Dog friendly with their own little menu and fresh water bowls provided. The staff were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed. Toilets were clean and functional. Seating was comfortable and well spaced - we loved the original furnishings, a lovely atmosphere. There was even room for our dog buggy which could be tucked out of the way- our dogs are not small dogs but there was lots of room for them and the serving ladies were very kind to them. There's a lovely outside balcony with some seating for nicer weather. Would highly recommend and will definitely return when we are in the area.

Browns Café is a lovely spot with loads of character and a really relaxed vibe. The staff were welcoming and made us feel right at home. As humans with vegan and vegetarian diets, we were really impressed with how thoughtful and accommodating the service was. Our server took the time to make sure everything was clear and that all our needs were covered, which made the whole experience stress-free. The food was fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. A great find ? we?ll definitely be back next time we?re in Pembroke.
When did we go - Midday
What did we have - vegan cheese toastie with heaps of salad, vegan prepped chips, soya hot chocolate , americano
Price - Cheaper than going the co-op down the road to get ingredients

Excellent service and friendly staff. Good breakfast, if there had been a vegetarian sausage, it would have been 5 stars. Also dog friendly!

We visited Pembroke for the first time as adults with our 9 and 11 year olds. We were all very hungry due to leaving Tenby early. We wanted to visit the castle and revisit childhood memories. However our stomachs had other ideas. We walked unknowingly down the Main Street and just via luck we found Browns Cafe. Well what can I say !!! Absolutely amazing good quality food and service. Each meal was really nice. They said on the menu that the fish was award winning and it sure was. They were accommodating and attentive. It looked like a family run business and the attention to detail was incredible. Many thanks for our take out lamb cawl it was great for our tea. You are doing a fantastic job. Keep it up xx

Lovely tasty breakfast. Super friendly staff. Service was outstanding. Dog friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Just walked in, and within 10 minutes we were eating our breakfast, brilliant.

What a gem!! I stumbled across Brown?s on my visit to Pembroke and had the most wonderful experience. Delicious traditional lamb cawl for lunch in the gorgeous 50s dining room - just fabulous. Will definitely be returning!
