My in shop enquiry regarding an adjustment to correct another opticians error was received with polite attention, and an offer of assistance. This attitude was continued with a ?have a go? attempt; which is becoming rare. In a few minutes the result was a ?can do? resolution; and I left the shop pleased and surprised at the professional and competent service I had received. This far exceeded the response experienced at three other similar shops I had visited, who quickly dismissed the possibility of correcting the error. This includes the originators of the problem. Looks like I ?should have gone to? Gareth Roberts; and probably will next time. Definitely recommended.

Me and my husband were visiting wales to see family, my husband had blurred vision in his right eye and the optician agreed to see him in between patients. The service was excellent and all the staff members were very helpful & polite. Thank you so much! Best optician service my husband has ever received!!

I am full of praise for the service received at Gareth Roberts Opticians. My husband suddenly noticed a ?spiders web? over one eye, whilst we were out walking. We were alarmed by the suddenness and severity. We went, without an appointment, to this Opticians and were met by kindness and professionalism from the moment we entered the door. The receptionist was thorough and reassuring, and appreciated our concern. The optometrist, Rhodri Williams agreed to see my husband between patients. He thoroughly examined the eye, checking vision and pressure as well as the retina. At all times he explained clearly exactly what he was doing and why. He then took the time to show us what had caused the problem and to reassure us that there should be no further consequences. He has advised a follow up appointment to be sure. We were blown away by the kind and helpful service from everyone involved. We are new to the area, but will definitely continue to avail ourselves of this first class opticians. Thank you so much.

Was in Llandudno and wanted to buy a pair of designer sunglasses. I turned up but the door was locked the bloke came out and half opened the door ,there was also a customer Inside browsing in what is quite roomy outlet.The man whom I assume was the owner explained it was appointment only. I explained I did not need prescription glasses just a pair off the shelf.He was not having any of it and would not grant me access . He just kept repeating appointments only,appointments only .Even though I explained I was from out of town.So glad I did not give this awful rude man any of my hard earned cash .So I went to one of his competitors down the road instead and had no hassles atall .Do not support buisness's that go over the top on these draconian measures that are being forced upon us. Gets 1 star for a nice shop front.

Bought a pair of mawi Jim's sunglasses and a couple of pairs of reading glasses very recently also had an eye test found all staff very friendly and helpful excellent service all round would highly recommend
