Was booked in for a wisdom tooth abstraction, on arrival staff on reception was friendly, was called in to see dr Aston where he asked what I was in for today, even though two weeks previously discussed with him that it needed to be removed hence why they booked me in today for an abstraction to only be told by looking at old x-rays it needed to be surgically removed and would cost me 250/500 pounds privately as I don?t have that kind on money! so asked to be put on the nhs where I was informed it is a 18/24 month wait! Why couldn?t he of told me two weeks ago it needed to be removed surgically rather then make me come back and charge me another 30 pounds for a 3 minute appointment, prescribed me more antibiotics but no discussion of a temporary filling as the tooth has a deep hole so would help with the pain, just feel completely messed about.

I have recently had veneers fitted by Hannah . My experience from start to finish has been fantastic. Hannah and her dental nurse ( sorry I can?t remember her name) were so friendly and welcoming and put me at ease throughout. I was listened to and advised accordingly as to shape and colour of my new veneers and am absolutely delighted with the result . Thank you so much x

Tried to make an appointment with Lisa the hygienist, told 5 month waiting list and pay up front when I queried this I was told 3 hygienist made redundant due to covid and not replaced. Wrote to practice manager evidently scared to reply to me. Arrogant attitude to patients.

Been going to this dentist for probably the best part of 30 years. No complaints with the treatment though being 63 was not expecting to pay for a check up as its free in wales, or so i thought. Got told it was private and had to pay £30. If i wanted free check up i had to find an nhs dentist yet ive been told they have a certain amount of nhs patients. Have alrrady paid a lot in the last 12 months for treatment. Can no longer afford going to the dentist. If their not careful, they will drive themselves out of business!!

Mr Clint Aston has been amazing during my Invisalign treatment. He explained everything very clearly, saw me every 2 to 6 weeks during my treatment, always made sure I was happy with the progress and I?m left with a great result. I?d highly recommend Mr Aston if anyone is considering Invisalign.

This practice isn't even worthy of 1* and I would urge people to stay away!!I'm absolutely disgusted and upset with the way my partner has been treated today, so I'm writing this review on his behalf. The staff were rude (not just one, but two receptionists) who even put the phone down mid conversation. Different information was given by different receptionists, so my partner quite rightly and politely questioned the information which seemed to be the reason for the rudeness by staff. The query was around the cost of the emergency appointment, as the day prior to this another receptionist confirmed there wasn't an extra charge for the emergency appointment however on the day they said there was an extra charge. So when my partner questioned this the member of staff in a rude and condescending manor replied with "the dentists time is not free so expect to bring money with you". There was an appointment available at 10:30am that same day, and the receptionist said she would speak with Russell Bennett to confirm the cost and get back to my partner and immediately put the phone down without confirming the number to call back on. This is where it quickly escalated. My partner called back to ensure the receptionist had his telephone number to return the call to, and to confirm the appointment was made. Another lady answered the phone this time and said the appointment was not booked as apparently my partner had upset another member of staff and therefor the practice would not see him. I was in the room myself and my partner was not rude in any way shape or form, not even slightly!!! Now that means two receptionists were rude to the patient!! The receptionist even went out of her way to discuss it with the dentist, Russell Bennett, who as a result declined to see my partner... after hearing one side of the story from this clearly hormonal receptionist!!! My partner asked to speak with the practice manager to resolve the matter, after all all he wanted was to get the appointment to ease him of pain and have an idea of how much it would cost. The practice manager then said they couldn't see him today but can book him an advanced booking with a £100 up front fee.... so now we have discrimination... why a deposit now? It's just a tactic to make him go elsewhere!! Now my partner is left with no appointment and left in pain for what reason??? A formal complaint will be written to the practice as well as to The General Dental Council and Health care inspectorate wales (HIW) for refusing to see a patient in pain for no reason and treating him the way they did!!! Absolutely horrifying
