Nice little location spoiled only by the bad attitude of a staff member.

Great little spot! Really clean and tidy, prompt friendly service and tasty food. Benches in the shade when the sun is shining and covered seating when the weather gets back to ?normal?

Refused service 30 mins before closing time (14:30) and we were wanted was a few snacks, drinks for kids and coffees for adults. All because it was 5 adults and 3 kids as we thought it looked like a nice place to stop with the kids. We were told it had to be pre booked for a cafe called the whistle stop (name implying it's ok to just stop in) turns out you can't, abit of a joke of a cafe.

We visited yesterday and won?t be returning. We were initially greeted by a lovely young girl who made us feel so welcome but this instantly changed when a male waiter took over. Firstly, he got our order wrong. We ordered cream tea for 2 and got given 1 scone with prepackaged cream and a blob of jam. I ordered a strawberry milkshake and was given a Yazoo bottle. This was disappointing as the menu reads as though it?s an actual milkshake made with ice cream, not a bottle of Yazoo, which was massively overpriced. The Belgian waffle with ice cream was lovely but other than that really disappointing. The man who served us also came across as very rude and most disappointing of all, he told my 6 year old niece off for having a look around inside. My niece very clearly has severe autism and likes to explore new environments. When we went inside he asked if we?d like a menu and I informed him we?d already ordered and were just having a look around. His reply - ?I?d rather you didn?t?. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and left me quite upset. My niece did nothing wrong other than sit at a table inside an empty cafe. She did stand on the seat at one point and I asked her to get down, but as a child with autism she has little understanding of social norms. His response was rude, unnecessary and quite simply left me feeling uncomfortable. This place has so much potential but customer service needs major improvement.

I stopped off for lunch with my dog and was made to feel most welcome. I had a love tuna melt and red onion pizza and Misty had a dog ice cream. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick.

Lovely place to stop for a drink and a jam/cream scone on our trip between Newborough Beach/forest and Aberfraw.

My friends and I were enjoying a beautiful walk from our campsite to the Welsh coastline in the blazing sun and decided to stop for something refreshing - just some ice lollies.
The cafe looked lovely from the outside, but before we could even step through the door, a balding overweight man came rushing out towards in an unfriendly tone [REDACTED QUOTE AWAITING CCTV EVIDENCE AUDIO FROM THEM]
His tone was abrupt, hostile, and unprovoked. No ?hello?, no ?can I help you?? - just immediate confrontation. Our group is ethnically diverse, including women wearing hijab, and the whole interaction felt deeply discriminatory. Had he simply asked what we were after, he?d have realised we were just after a quick refreshment before continuing our 12 mile walk - we actually didn?t have any plans to be seated.
The place wasn?t exactly heaving- there were 18 of us (not all were looking to purchase something) and we all agreed It was a deeply disappointing and upsetting experience, so we decided not to spend our money there and left. It ALMOST ruined a beautiful day. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Horrible service.
Whilst we appreciate they couldn't accommodate 8 adults and young children as we did not have a booking-there is nothing on the side to suggest a booking is necessary(and we were happy to wait for the food too ) the waiter was snippy and didn't allow us to speak, then once he finished what he had to say, just walked off. Very awkward situation. He refused to even consider an order of one or two pizzas. The review is purely due to the waitress attitude as we've never experienced such a hostile attitude before. Wouldn't come back and wouldn't recommend at all.

I never write reviews good or bad, but I?m compelled to write to say this place must be avoided at all costs. We attended on a relatively quiet Saturday afternoon. After parking and walking to the stepping stones near by - we paid for our parking and the host seemed hospitable. On our return we went to the cafe to get ice creams for the children and some tea and coffee for the adults (4 adults and 3 children)
The gentleman serving seemed irritated from the minute we said we just wanted ice creams and coffees and told us to to look in the ice cream cabinet but to tell him what we wanted as the ice cream cabinet was locked.
We did find this unusual but premises have different rules, he seemed extremely impatient as the children looked in the cabinet to see which ice cream they wanted. My child who is a very well behaved 10 year old, chose his ice cream and said mum I?ll have an Oreo ice cream as he tried to slide the door open.
What happened next I can only describe as shocking behaviour, as the gentleman shouted ?it?s locked I have told you once?
I calmly said to the man ?excuse me?? As he started waving his hands and shaking his head and said ?I can not DEAL with you I?ll get someone else to deal with you!? And stormed off
To say this is shocking behaviour - he upset 3 very quiet well behaved children who had to witness this complete melt down.
He sent a very young girl out to serve us, and is still being in shock asked to speak to the manager to which she replied he was the owner.
I would just like to say, that I would absolutely never go to this place again. Yes it?s a gorgeous little set up, the place could do very well but never in my life have I been on the receiving end of such poor behaviour. I would urge people to not go here.
We left not purchasing anything which quite easily could have been £70 for drinks and ice creams for us all, instead he lost our custom and I will tell everyone I meet in Anglesey not to come here.

Visited today and received the most unwelcome greeting. Was told they couldn?t serve us. Then said we will just buy ice cream for our children to then to be told no one will serve us. While we were there they also turned another party away. There was plenty of space and just didn?t want to serve us. That?s one way to go out of business. Disgusting. Do not visit!!
