Fantastic Attraction! Dog friendly all areas! A very detailed Transport Museum vehicle enthusiasts. A good collection roughly equal in motorcycles, cars, trucks, tractors and military vehicles and stationary engines. However around the walls and side rooms the collection of transport related items is vast. 100s of toys, signs, pumps, bottles, saws, books. Even if all the vehicles were removed there would still be 1000s of exhibits in the museum. The cafe was a pleasant surprise. Have struggled for years on Anglesey in need of somewhere to stop, hot food, comfortable surroundings. Had a great all day breakfast. I should have been coming here for the last 30 years. We will certainly now be regular visitors.

Mmm. Let's start with the positives , the vehicles are amazingly well restored and kept in great condition. I took my partner as a birthday treat today . Over £50 to cover breakfast and entrance, the entrance fee was justified , the breakfast a tad overpriced. The whole thing took a huge downturn when they wanted to charge a whopping 75 P for a small portion of marmalade to go on the brown toast ( despite ordering white,). I offered them 50 p plus they could keep the 20p for the juke box selection which takes the money but doesn't let you select the music you want. The unbelievable scenario which ensued was both upsetting, unwarranted and put a huge damper on the whole birthday treat , we were both upset all day and the female in question said hurtful things like if 75p was out of my budget i shouldn't have asked for the marmalade, accused me of theft and threatened to call the police!! She completely missed the point that it was a matter of principal at having been asked to pay a grossly inflated price for a small portion of marmalade ( most places charge around 20/25p for these pots.) I strongly object to being ripped off and it served to completely spoil what had promised to be a good day. So to sum up , the vehicles were great , the customer service and respect from this one female who i presume to be the owner were sadly lacking although the young girls on the till/ coffee machines were great.

This place is absolutely 10/10, the amount of work that has gone into all the vehicles is mind bending, there's detailed information on everything and the vehicles story, I dont normally leave reviews but this place deserves it and more would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going, if I didn't have my toddler with me I would of spent all day here.

What a great place to visit especially when the weather's bad. Plenty of exhibits on display for anyone with an interest in vehicles such as motorbikes??, cars?, trucks?, tractors? & buses?.There's a cafe for a brew & a butty to keep everyone happy if hungry. For younger children there is also a playground and plenty of space for them to run around in safety.Plenty of free off road parking in the middle of the complex which is a bonus.Reasonably priced entrance fee which assists with the day to day running of all the vehicles and upkeep of them and even renovation of new projects they undertake.Well worth visiting if on Anglesey as it's easy to get to.

We visited yesterday (Saturday the 28th of October) and although not crowded the museum and cafe were comfortably busy. The whole experience was positive with some amazing vehicles including family, farmer, forces and some amazing signage and tools of yester year. The people we met were really nice including the gentleman that owns the museum. No airs or grace's here just a true love of motors and the past. Dog friendly too and the thing that was extra special to me were all the old anglesey number plates on the cars, which took me back afew years.Thankyou so much and if you haven't been.....why not???

An absolute must if you are in any way interested in vehicles & also general memorabilia from the 20th century. One of the highlights is seeing the open view servicing workshop & the staff undertaking rebuilds & keeping these vehicles in good condition. The owner & staff are responsible for keeping many of the exhibits from going to the scrap heap, full credit to them & their dedication for preserving these important parts of automotive & industrial history :)

Wow ! Last visited five years ago, what a transformation, more vehicle's and more room to house the vehicle's. Cars, tractors, motorcycles, military vehicle's, coaches and more, set out in a 1940's street. An excellent cafe, Well worth the admission fee of £8.50 per adult, ( £8 OAP ) This venue is now Dog Friendly ( on a short lead ) a great decision. A must visit when visiting Anglesey

Nostalgia on wheels! We visited on a wet windy weekday, we weren?t sure what to expect but were completely blown away by this very underrated motor museum. It?s clearly signposted, ample parking space, clear directions as soon as you are on site. There was a vast collection of cars motorcycles and related memorabilia that for anyone of my age (74 and hence gets a reduced entry fee ) this was a wander down memory Lane. Most of the exhibits have been lovingly restored ,most are everyday cars that we would have seen on the streets in the 50s and 60s up until recently . we spent over two hours there and could?ve spent more if we hadn?t had to be getting back. While the primary exhibits are cars and motorcycles there are allsorts of related mechanical exhibits and quite a lot of military vehicles and equipment including those huge Bedfords used to move troops around the UK that were so familiar in the 50s.There is even a red arrows jet on display. If you?re a Land Rover fan there are loads including some for sale.If you haven?t got the message by now I loved itThere is a cafe on site ( we didn?t try it) The loos were clean and tidy. There weren?t many people there when we went round.Thoroughly enjoyed our visit

Excellent Motor Museum. Plenty of vehicles to look at kept in very good condition. The military vehicle display is worth a look and interesting viewing the workshops. Great cafe on site and kids play area as well. Recommended.

The approach, although tidy, doesn't reflect what is inside. Plenty of free parking onsite. The cafe, where you pay, offers lunches etc, but only sandwiches on the day we visited as it was so hot. We had cheese and chutney, which was in chunky cut bread, with an added side salad, and coleslaw. It was very tasty. Lovely outside seating area, dog friendly. The main shed with cars, motorbikes, (motorbikes upstairs, and chairlift is fitted) and farm machinery (up some steps) is entered via a door in the cafe. You exit by a door on the lower level and walk across to another large shed opposite, housing military vehicles and buses. There's not masses of each collection, but it was a nice couple of hours, taking our time, having lunch and just enjoying what was on offer. The young ladies in the cafe were very friendly and helpful. Need better menu's, as paper ones are a little disheveled.

Loved it here. We happened upon the place after a bike ride in the forest. There's a lovely cafe, with delicious home made scones for cream tea and Welsh rarebit. There's a play area for the kids at the cafe too.The transport museum itself was brilliant. So many beautifully restored vehicles from bicycles to armoured personnel carriers and even planes!

Great for a visit if classic is your thing - there are cars, bikes, farm equipment, military vehicles and other memorabilia. All in great condition having been restored and are well looked after. Plenty to see! Nice little cafe selling a variety of reasonably priced food and drink also. Dog friendly throughout if they?re kept on the lead. There is also a children?s play area and a camping area on site. Definitely worth a look!
