I'm absolutely ? pleased with my new glasses its the first time I've ever bought glasses from them so everything was new too me,from the test by Lucy,Helen helped me choose the frames and Roy done the dispensing everyone was excellent and I couldn't have wished for a better team who talked me through every detail.I will certainly be using them again and I'd highly recommend them to anyone

I LIVE 28 MILES FROM THIS STORE IN NEWTOWN,I WENT FOR AN EYE TEST ON OCTOBER 2ND 2023,THEY SAID MY PRESCRIPTION HAD CHANGED,SO I HAD TO HAVE NEW LENSES AND FRAME,TUESDAY 17TH OCTOBER WENT BACK TO PICK UP THE GLASSES,THE GLASSES WERE NOT RIGHT WITH THE LEFT EYE CAUSING PROBLEMS WITH VISION AND HEADACHES,I PHONED THE STORE AND THEY MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR ME TODAY WED 25TH OCT,THEY CHECKED MY FRAME WHICH WAS OK ,I EXPECTED A RETEST TODAY BUT NO,I HAVE TO GO BACK ON NOVEMBER 20TH FOR A RETEST,JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH .DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE PLAYING AT.NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH SPECSAVERS IN NEWTOWN..

The examining opticians are always excellent, thorough exams, plenty of time to discuss concerns. Yes, it is worth the extra tenner for the OCT scan if you are 50+ or your family has a history of glaucoma.The dispensing part of the business always leaves me feeling confused by the various offers, and it takes weeks to manufacture glasses - I remember when there was a lab inside many Specsavers and you could get them the same day.Scratch resistant coating is a joke - I would hate to see what non-scratch resistant lenses look like after a few months of gentle use - opaque?!

Always receive great service at a very competitive price. There is never any pressure to spend more than you need to. They are very busy and thorough so don't always get the phone. But I left a message and they got back to me, and although I had missed an appointment were courteous and respectful and rebooked me the same day.

Rang up needing an urgent appointment due to losing vision in my eye. They assured me they would return my call as soon as they had someone available. 7 hours later still no call back. Unable to get hold of anyone due to nobody answering the phone! For such a widely known and respected company I expected more. Certainly wouldn't refer these to anybody!
