Typical Aldi store, Managed to get some good special buys and overall prices very competitive. Did a medium shop and had everything on my list. Long queues at the checkouts but they move along quickly.

I bought a few staple requirements, milk, bread etc.Also a box of Langham's dog food.My dog absolutely loves it.Iits in the top five dog foods for nutrition.

Big car park with disabled spaces and wheelchair accessible entrance.The store is quite open, airy, and is clean and well laid out inside.Lots of products, excellent variety of fruit and veg, plus dry goods, tinned stuff, drinks, etc.Prices are rising, as they are everywhere, but still more reasonable than in some other shops.Helpful and friendly member of staff at the checkout too. ?

The shopping part was fine, but as usual there was only 2 tills open and a lot of people waiting. I only had a few items and it's very frustrating when there is 2 or more people with big trolley loads. Needs a fast lane for few items. Makes me not want to do my shopping there.

I love the food, good quality and reasonably priced. If there was anything I'd say, is the checkouts are rushed and less friendly than other neighbouring supermarkets and the staff chat between themselves whilst serving on headsets rather than focusing on customer service.

Newtown Aldi is a spacious store.Has their new chilled cabinets with doors to save energy.Wider aisles too.
