Extremely noisy outside?people were talking and shouting right downstairs as late as 1 a.m.! I was shocked that the hotel staff didn?t intervene or call someone to address the situation. It really disrupted my stay and made it hard to get any sleep. DO NOT GO HERE!

Best things I can say are ?cheap and cheerful?. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly.
Room is very hot, not particularly clean, bed was uncomfortable and only one pillow each!
Appears to be used by local authorities as emergency accommodation based on the clientele hanging around the entrance day and night. A lot of shouting outside after hours. I?d recommend that you pay extra and stay somewhere else!

Friendly receptionist. Noisey place, doors slamming, noise from the room above walking on there heels, noise from people outside early hours. I know it's basic but there's a limit unless you don't mind sleep deprivation.

We?ve just checked into this hotel and there was a group of undesirables hanging around outside the entrance.
The smell of weed was very strong, and we could hear a lot of noise outside from our room.
Won?t be staying here again????
Cutting short our stay by one day as the noise outside was extreme at 2.am.
Be warned??..don?t stay here?
Any rooms facing the front of the hotel, looking out at the Queens Hotel opposite are definitely gonna be noisy.

I'll be specific, we left early didn't feel safe in the area the hotel itself was up to a good standard (minus the pillows for the love of god order new pillows) the one staff member we spoke to was lovely red haired girl very helpful and always on top of things.
Other than that room itself was good standard
But the sheer amount of council referrals or homeless hanging around outside was dreadful made us feel very unsafe
Music blaring outside till 2am (cars pulling up playing loud music with homeless around)
Security did absolutely nothing about the congregation of people outside the main doors and outside our window (in the carpark people shouting for hours at a time)
Literilly barely seen a staff member apart from the girl I mentioned earlier
Desk was not manned whenever she was not their (staff never behind reception was a security guard who didn't seem to move from the sofa)
We won't be staying at this Travelodge again and as stated came home a day early after comicon as we didn't wanna be confined to the room

Got kicked out apparently cuse my dog done a toilet in corridor when my dog out door trained and they allowed other dogs to uranate in the passage not mine and the manger very stuck up no respect no care all she like is the money yassine very lovely guy no hassle from him good guy and sharron don?t trust her she?s very stuck up she tells u 1 thing and another to the manger n by the way it ain?t a pet friendly hotel if u ask me

Not bad for a 2star hotel. Staff very friendly. Unfortunately no lounge, bar or dining room, but lots of eating places nearby

Bad service staff are rude ...my room smelled of cigarettes staff was like leave if you don't like it ...I got 2 bites from the bed from some bug.

On arrival, there was a bunch of people drinking and smoking right at the entrance, we felt unsafe walking through them and just the general vibe of the area seemed quite dodgy. Once in, I was pleasantly surprised at the room, we were given a fan as it was 28+ degrees and everything looked ok at first sight. Went to wash my hands and there was no soap, I had a bar with me so not the end of the world?
Went to charge my phone and neither of the bedside USB ports worked, but the socket next to the kettle did so fine ?
Got into bed later and noticed hairs under the pillow ? prayed they were my parner?s beard hairs, lifted the duvet up and there was more in between us (we had JUST got into the bed) so disposed of them, tried to ignore it and sleep, couldn?t get out quicker in the morning!
Staff were kind and helpful, can?t fault that, the place just needs a good upgrade !

Good value for money, clean rooms, very close to train station, helpful staff especially Yassine who was very friendly and helpful

if you?re staying here in the summer, re think this option!
There?s no aircon or airflow and the room was like a sauna. I brought an extra fan with me but I had to have both on and a wet towel to stay cool and I still was too hot.
Also the location didn?t feel safe at all.

The staff were excellent, 1st night got raided with armed police, next day recetion flooded with water pouring through the roof from above rooms and last night arrived back at night to 2 police cars and a guy flat out smashed on drugs in the door way. Felt sorry for the staff as they all worked hard.
