Fantastic 2 night stay in the B&B rooms above the family run gastro pub. A warm welcome (even to an Englishman ?) from everyone both sides of the bar! Dog friendly and very much a countryside theme in the decor throughout. Close to many scenic attractions including Carly ruins, long empty beaches and shopping. Several cask ales on draught and a full compliment of wines and spirits. Full menu from breakfasts, lunches, and evening meals using local produce. Real fires and cosy rooms to have your meal. Clean and stylish rooms to relax in afterwards, with a good night?s sleep.

dinners was spot on abso love it plenty of choices. however wifi was not working in the conservatory, so highly advised some kids distractions like colouring activty kit as other restaurant provided but that just to be advised. but overall, everything and outside kids love the surround enclosure of pretty flowers and lions kids overall enjoy the dinners. u done gr8 job, will be coming again xxxxx

Really nice pub good beer with a nice atmosphere a few local nutters providing entertainment including myself very nice couple running it Gwen and Glen extremely helpful and welcoming couldn't recommend more highly bless them love Peter xx

Excellent value for money 3 course Sunday lunch. Choice with each course and served with all the trimmings. I had veg samosas to start, tender beef as main and strawberries and ice cream in a meringue nest for dessert. Covid measures to perfection felt very safe. Looking forward to my next visit. And looking forward to when they are back cooking on week nights xx

6 of us went for evening meal. Only minus was that I thought the potato skins starter for 2 small pieces was overpriced and pizza could have done with a little more filling but other than than the service was excellent and all the dishes we had were very good, I had beef and stilton pie which was very tasty. Salmon risotto was very nice

Felt welcome from the minute we arrived. Proper local pub with friendly and helpful owners and and staff. Everyone was made aware of the COVID rules and proper precautions taken. We had Sunday lunch which was just like a tasty family meal, tender beef with all the trimming and the stuffing was something to aspire to. Definitely somewhere to come back to.

Lovely Sunday on Father's Day tasty and plenty of it. Excellent value. Very clean and friendly establishment and all covid rules adhered to at all times. We will definitely return again.

Had Christmas dinner here on Christmas day, what a lovely day it was too. Excellent food, really lovely hosts and other diners were happy and nice to meet, had a laugh, a Xmas carol and food outstanding.
