We had a delicious meal here on Saturday evening, the pies and the puddings were particularly good and the service was efficient and polite . However , service staff were racing around at break neck speed , banging chairs and shouting at each other ! It wasn't a relaxing atmosphere ! Especially as we were celebrating my mums 87th birthday !

Review for dinner only. Visited on the basis of recommendations from a visitors book but while pleasant were underwhelmed for the price (£100 for 2 adults and 1 child having main and dessert only). Childrens fish and chips was very good. Sea bass was tasty but on the small side and would have benefited from some vegetables as came with potato but little else. Great to have more than one vegan main. However Fragrant Thai green vegetable curry tasted ok, but could have been a little spicier and no authentic Thai curry would include courgette or garden peas! Felt that whatever vegetables were to hand had been used. Desserts ok. Some confusion over whether sorbet was available or not, but it was. Staff friendly and a pleasant building but very limited parking. Overall wouldn't go back as felt too pricy for what it was.

We stayed here recently whilst touring wales. The room was lovely , food yummy, staff really friendly , parking easy - across the road in pub car park. Really impressed with how efficient staff were and helpful . The lady who cleans was really kind offering her thoughts on where to visit. Thank you , hope to visit again!

A distinctly average pub experience; we were all disappointed. Had the pie, lamb chops, and the GL burger, none of which was worth writing home about. The chips weren?t done enough. Best thing about the place was the dog-friendly facilities. We didn?t bother staying for dessert.

We went for Sunday lunch. Pre-booked way back in March. The food was good and generous portions. But we booked for 2.15 lunch. And roast beef had sold out leaving only chicken or vegetarian option. Disappointed.
