I have used this store for many years taking my disabled mother for her weekly shop in her wheel chair she is 92 years old. I feel i am being driven away from this large store that serves a large area of Newport. There is rarely any disabled trolleys that clip onto the wheelchair my mother cannot use the electric trolleys. I tried pushing her around with a basket on her lap but it becomes too heavy, the basket isn't big enough. For me there cannot be any excuse for not not providing these trolleys. If necessary the provision needs to be protected you are effectively limiting the access to the store by wheel chair users. It causes distress to me and my mother.I have been using Asdas as a result of this. VERY POOR TESCO .

Stag are always helpful and friendly. Some prices are very competitive. Fruit and vegetables are fresh, well displayed and good value for money. Club Card is well worth getting for offers and extra discount.

As one of Tescos biggest stores in Europe. Its what you expect huge and well stocked. There is a cafe too and toilets. Its on the first floor with a lift down one end for those who are unable to use the escalators.Plenty of self checkouts. Also a greggs on first floor and on the ground floor a subway providing food for van drivers ha haPlenty of coverd parking with a maximum stay limit don't go over as they use ANPR cameras. Disabled parking also with good flat pathways

Popped in with my Mum for some lunch, i ordered the Crispy Chicken Burger and Waffle Fries, it was lush, the burger was sooo juicy and hot, waffle fries nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, however they only have light mayonnaise, Friendly staff, it was a 30 min wait for food but we didn't mind, my mum ordered the BLT baguette and waffle fries, the water was nice and my mum had a Latte 10/10 experience

Pretty disgusting, only a half dozen tables taken, the rest of the tables are filthy and uncleaned with food debris over them and the seats. I know it is only tesco, but basic cleanliness is obviously out the window.

The service was good but the big breakfast was absolutely disgusting. Everything was burnt the bacon was like cardboard the hashbrowns were dark brown in colour and crunchy you could taste the burnt rather than a hash brown. The fact that you can't swap an item is ridiculous as most other places are more accommodating yet charge you for the item that you want instead as an extra. As I was there trying to pick out the bits of breakfast that I could salvage which was the toast and beans i witnessed a gentleman ask for more butter which the bit they give you is about the size of a thumbnail was told that if they gave him extra butter it was another 10p. I won't be returning any time soon not for a breakfast anyway what a waste of money when you are being served food like that it's the worst breakfast I've ever had.

I visited the store on a wet Wednesday evening and was delighted to find so many happy smiling staff throughout the store.I formed the opinion that the boss must be on holiday and went so far as to ask one of the supervisors if that was the case.I needed help as I was shopping for a lady who was not with me one of the staff assisted in holding up a dress so I could take a picture of it. She even offered to model it for me if necessary. As I say, it was a miserable wet Wednesday evening but I left the store with a spring in my step because of how well I was treated and received by some really first class retail professionals.I only managed to get the names of two of the staff Lauren and Natalia who were themselves exemplary but there were many others who were a complete credit to the organisation. That was most definitely a warm welcome in this particular Valley.

Always easy to navigate round and food is expensive but stocked well

The Tesco here provides a lot of consumer products with relatively appealing prices and an abundance of stock constantly worked and out on the shelves. However, the waiting times when using the services at Tesco as well as the management can be its downside.

A very large Tesco selling a wide variety of items, including a large home and clothing section. The shop itself is based on the first floor, above a large car park. There are stairs, a trolley escalator and lifts providing access to the first floor. There are also a variety of other smaller shops inside the building, including a Card Factory, Greggs, Subway, opticians, betting shop, charity shop. There is a large car park under the shop with disabled spaces and 'parent and child' spaces near the entrance.

Large modern store with ground floor parking and a moving staircase up to shops and eating places including Tesco's. Just about everything sold in this large store.
