Great little store when certain staff are in however there?s a few that make it absolutely miserable, one staff member can?t even be bothered to read ID I?ve seen her a few times buzz management to come and show her how passports and driving licenses work, I know she?s been there for a while now, honestly I don?t think this is the job for her, that?s another thing, the buzzing? this same staff member is constantly buzzing away if and when she?s on the tills, I?ve also seen her stacking? my god woman it?s not as hard as you make it, I?ve seen tortoises move faster than she does
Any way rant over, some staff make this store fantastic, others make it an absolute nightmare, it?s mostly hit and miss depending on who?s in

The staff are awful. The cashier took forever and threw my change into my hand. The clerk stocking things did not have enough common sense to move when I was trying to look at the inventory to buy something (not like thats the point of the store.) I swear the way this woman was compulsatory about putting things on the shelf she must?ve had like OCD or something. Any person with common sense who?s getting paid by the hour would welcome a customer shopping so that they could stop doing general labor for five minutes? this woman had no sense of that. The prices were fair? decent even? but a majority of The food all look like it was going to spoil soon. It?s on a really ratchet street to that I hate going on and the security guard acted like all he dealt with was drug addicts and thieves the way he thought I was gonna steal some thing and was watching me very closely?.

I wouldn't bother...this store is always closed due to staff not turning up in the mornings, and whatever excuse they can come up with. If another Express Grocery store popped up next door Tesco Express would be out of business in a week. People only go there because there is no other similar shop in the bottom part of town. Take my advice and find somewhere else to go buy essentials breakfast or lunch, etc, this store is a waste of space.

Was in here weeks ago and the beer/cider fridge wasn't working, and it's still not. Bought carry out from Wetherspoons. Avoid.

My time in the shop is ok ,it's got everything you need. Although the shop is small they have managed to fit most of what people want it passes the test. Only gripe since I lost my Tesco card is I get no nock downs that a card will give me . That is not good so how do I replace my card.......

I waited outside Tesco Express while my friend purchased a smoking product, clean & tidy outside, lots of shoppers going in & out VERY BUSY shop, my friend assured me the queing was large to say the least. Maybe more staff needed for 5 ? star rating
