All new refurb and kit. I especially love the amount of Barbells available. Along with the TRX, yanga machine and the Huel from the vending machine.
Classes are great especially Sunday mornings and the staff are really friendly too. They also have personal trainers available to help with more complex questions.
There isn't a lot going on in Newport in the Autumn months. But, Puregym is open 24/7 and is a great place to start working towards something meaningful.

Having read the reviews, I didn't think I was going to like it here but decided to give it a chance. I spent a good three hours there on my first day. I didn't particularly like the fact you have to download the app and get the pin or QR code by paying first if a non-member just to get through the door.
I forgot to bring a padlock with me but the one member of staff who was there kindly let me use the secure room next to the office to keep my stuff safe. The equipment works great, its spacious enough that no one is in each other's way *cough*(unlike Nuffield health in Cwmbran)*cough*
The only criticism I have is yes the toilets in the men's changing room do smell a bit, there should be more staff available, the weights all seem to be in the wrong order and could only find one '10 kg' and having to use the QR code just to get in and out is annoying, especially if your phone has run out of battery. Other than that no issues.
*edit* the app does actually show the pin to get in under the qr code. My advice is its best to make a note of this offline incase the app is down or whatever

Freindly gym, staff all welcoming. Great confidence boast for myself.All different types of fitness levels here feels comfortable. Longest ever stayed at any gym.

Nice gym though in my opinion way too many mirrors. Great access to equipment, massive free weights area and multiple cable stations, would recommend to anyone not already a member.

Went to pure Gym changing rooms and showers being refurbished I like a shower after work out no email about refurbishment to changing rooms also no direct phone number to Newport pure gym the phone number I get is for birecester
