Great pharmacy, really friendly and helpful

My daughter picked up my sons prescription from the chemist and in there was an invoice for £41 for one of the items. I knew what they were implying, that the medication is expensive.The said medication is prescribed by a professor of neurology and used to reduce the length of seizures and so very important and can?t be missed.The following month: The receptionist said that the script wasn?t ready to my partner who went to collect our sons meds, even though I had phoned the GP surgery the previous day to check if it had been collected.I asked to speak to the pharmacist as two of the items were needed that night.She said ´look! You can buy this item yourself from Holland and Barrett?s (it?s an amino acid so she wasn?t wrong) what she didn?t take into account is that he has frequent stays in hospital and sometimes respite and those who care for him will only administer prescribed medication with a pharamist instruction label.She guilt tripped me so bad that I said that I would buy it but asked them to dispense one lot every 6 months which I would keep specifically for hospital and respite purposes.I shouldn?t have to be made to feel like this.Hence the reason I feel compelled to share this awful experience and rate low.

Always used perns in Risca over 25yrs since been taken over hasn?t been same . When to newbridge the customer service was excellent just like Risca one use to be . Very freindly didn have to wait long at all had everything in stock that my partner needed cancer neck breather . Will travel out my way to go hear in future. Thank you pearns newbridge excellent service

I use this pharmacy on a regular basis, and the staff are always ready to help you with any enquires you may have, regarding medications. Always friendly and efficient. A real community based chemist.
