I visited Friars walk store for 1st time today. I was looking for a particular item which I could not find. A lady called Jayne asked if she could help & I showed her a pic of what I was looking for. She said she would go & have a look out the back. She came back with exactly what I wanted & the correct size. An hour after leaving the store I realized I had lost the gift card that I had paid with. I returned to the shop & Jayne had found it & kept it behind the desk. I will definitely go back to this store again due to the customer service I received

My car was damaged in the car park, it wasn?t hit by another car but a person taking a weapon to it as it had over 40 gouges to it. Car park point blank refused to check its cameras.

I visited this store with an item that I wanted to return. Unfortunately I did not have the receipt as after choosing the email option it did not arrive. I had the bank transaction on my phone showing the purchase but I was told by a manager that nothing could be done. It was instead suggested that I travel from Newport to Cardiff where the item was purchased as only they could trace the transaction. Disappointed I took the item home. I contacted New Look online when I got home only to find that they could trace my transaction and send me a new receipt (I was not given this option in store.) It turns out that they had taken down my email address incorrectly. After being sent the receipt I then went back to the store where they finally agreed to take the item back.

Was expecting a bit more choice of clothing in this shop considering it is in a city, I found smaller towns have a better layout , just didn't feel the vibe. I did buy a pair of jeans, of which were lovely, wanted to buy some tops, but the shop appeared to be all over the place.

Really have to say what a pleasure to shop in this store. Firstly I live in Cornwall and went to Newport to see my mum who is 82 years of age. She loves her shopping so took her into New Look (yea she is trendy ??) In the store were some really unruly children. The manager of the store politely asked the parents to keep there children safe because of accidents. Thank god she did, my mum is quite unsafe on her feet and them running around made her uneasy. When I got to the till a lovely young man was about to go on a break but I walked towards the till, he came back and served me with no hesitation. His name is Chris and I just want to say THANKYOU to him. I was worried about my mum wandering around. A lovely shop and staff. Maybe other shops should really read this review. Once again THANKYOU to Chris ????

Sadly no men's clothes as with 99% of these stores now, good back ground music and the shop was clean and tidy and well laid out.

Went in during the sales, with a slim friend hate sales s it's all miss massed. Very few larger lady sizes, so that's why I dont shop there.
