The Newport, Gwent branch have some of the most friendliest, helpful staff. Myself and my husband have been back and forth a lot lately and each time we have had fantastic service whether that was on the phone or in branch. Highly recommend this company and particularly this branch. Thanks for all your help.

Ok!! where do I start, I spoke to a gentleman named Ryan last week in my local branch in Newport Gwent with transferring some savings to my nationwide account. after some time in conversation I was drastically shocked at the suggestion by Ryan the staff member ( that he would put it into crypto if it was his money )??. I was left so confused as to why he would make such a statement. It made me rethink if I wanted nationwide to have my life savings and my credit from the sale of one of my properties. The advice and attitude of this nationwide representative was very unprofessional and lacked effort and understanding. Ive left nationwide now as I didn't feel comfortable with his response to my balance in front of others as Wow. It made me feel so uncomfortable.

The staff there are impeccably rude I went to go get money out of my book that my nan had set up for me from when I was little, the lady that served me was rude enough to say about the condition of my old book and that she didn?t want to touch it which left me feeling humiliated and embarrassed in front of other customers, there was nothing wrong with the book other than it was old and withered, not dirty or unclean, I?ve never felt so infuriated by a member of customer service
