“A lovely place to have coffee and cake. My partner had the orange slice and I the carrot cake. Coffee was spot on, the orange slice delightful and the carrot cake moreish and tasty! Highly recommend!”

“My Wife and I ate here after passing by a few times, the exterior looked wonderful and so we thought we'd try it out. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we ordered drinks and then ate. My Wife had the chilli dish and I had the gammon. Both were lovely meals. Interior of the pub was lovely and cosy and the rear boasted a lovely beer garden. A very nice establishment! Thank you!”

“Stayed for one night in this lovely hotel with two friends in a triple room. Room was spacious and well equipped with en suite bathroom, very decent room! The staff are extremely lovely and knowledgeable of the area, and while there wasn’t dinner available while we were there the breakfast was wonderful (buffet selection of cereal/coffee/tea etc with a cooked option of choice as well). All in all a lovely hotel would very much recommend for a relaxing holiday in Pembrokeshire!”

“We had a delicious meal here on Saturday evening, the pies and the puddings were particularly good and the service was efficient and polite . However , service staff were racing around at break neck speed , banging chairs and shouting at each other ! It wasn't a relaxing atmosphere ! Especially as we were celebrating my mums 87th birthday !”

Cnapan is a bit of a local legend - very hospitable hosts and immaculate rooms and garden. Diolch!”

Would recommend the location if you are planning for Brecon Beacons and/or Gower National Park as it’s 1 hour drive from there and lots of restaurants option back in Newport, Cardiff or Swansea.”

“In the shop 2 retail assistants were very helpful. They looked for the bedding I had asked for but couldn't find the colour I wanted. So they went on mobiles &said that they didn't have it in stock but I should order on internet. I have just done that to be delivered in 4 days. Thank you.”

“We knew that there was a new management team and that they had big shoes to fill - we were blown away! Great atmosphere, amazing food and brilliant service. A big shout out to our server (a 16 year old young lady whose customer service skills are already fantastic) - good luck with your GCSE results! My steak was tender, generous and delicious. My husband had a burger which was chargrilled, meaty and dripping with cheese. Thank you for a wonderful meal, we will be back!”

“Was very apprehensive due to bad experiences I've had with other travelodges but this was a delight. Exceptionally friendly staff, very clean, smelt beautiful and lovely and quiet so slept well both nights I was there. Location is also ideal for access to the town centre and public transport links. Would stay again.”

“This is a budget hotel,but has a brilliant location,with rooms that are clean and tidy with a comfortable bed.Tea making facilities,with a great surplus of makings,all you have to do is ask.If you require a ironing board and iron just ask.
The staff are so helpful it's unbelievable,the only member of staff with purple hair,the only one, was so helpful and cheerful in her job, a credit to Travelodge.
This is also located in a central location for anything in Newport.”
