“This is my first real experience of going to the optician, can I say what amazing service from the moment I made the appointment on the phone. This was absolutely continuous through the incredibly thorough tests with the optician, with easy to understand explanations throughout, to the choosing of my new glasses. The help I received regarding what shape glasses would suit the shape of my face was something I hadn’t anticipated, but was very much welcomed! Nothing was too much trouble and I felt like I had received an excellent service the whole time. I would absolutely go here again and again and again - the service felt very personal to me - thanks all at Liverton’s!!”

“Had a lovely experience with my eye test and purchasing new glasses. Staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for me, only thing is I was looking for larger framed glasses to suit my face shape and would have liked more choices that fitted that. I did find glasses that I am very happy with in the end though!”

“I hadn't had a test in over 15 years so was a little nervous, but no need as staff were great at making me feel comfortable and explaining the test. There wasn't a lot of waiting around either. Only thing I will add (which is partially on me for not remembering to ask) is not being told how long it will take for my new glasses to arrive. Will use Boots again next time as it was easy, efficient and staff were friendly.”

“Yet another Very good experience at Specsavers Austin friars Newport , I was pleasantly greeted at the door to check my appointment time then seated down , and almost immediately was seen by another assistant to start my sight test . When that was finished, I was seated again for a few minutes then seen again for the second part of the test . I was very pleased with how they had explained everything to me. Then I was seated for the part of choosing the frames , but as I had lost my husband only a few years ago and he had bought the three pairs of glasses for me they had a lot of sentimental value to me so I choose to keep my frames and have my new lenses put into my frames , which they were very happy to do for me . I would definitely recommend specsavers , Newport for a visit, very pleasant staff and very efficient.”
