“I have just visited the store where sadly, a member of staff was suddenly taken ill. Both staff members were very young. The young man in charge was clearly doing his best to care for the staff member who was ill but was also having to negotiate an increasingly agitated male outside the store. Once the staff member who had taken ill had safely left the store with her partner, the young man let us in. I checked on him & he was clearly shaken up by what had happened I would like him to be acknowledged by the manager & I think he did a great job of caring for his colleague whilst under pressure!”
“Good produce for all the families requirements. Products are of a good quality and reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Security is provided on the doors daily.”

“this spar is lovely, let me describe my time. I walked in to a tight area surrounded by goods. I headed off down the tight maze, turning around tight corners getting even further lost, challenging other customers to space around the fridges, feeling my anxiety raise I slid down a slope into the booze, o gosh I left quickly, back into the maze. I stayed strong and finally find myself at the tills and the door to leave.Fantastic experience, I mean even if you're not going to buy anything its well worth the trip. 10/10”

“I went there a few times ! Very convenient close to both bus stations ! I found a mini nail clipper ( I can't believe forgot to pack mine ! I never forgot before !! )there became so handy & it is a good quality & it was very cheap ! I forgot how much it was ,but believe around £3 ? I'll have to check ! The workers there were very friendly & helpful !! I highly recommend this store !! They sold flowers ,too !”

“The place has just about everything. And if they haven't, his shop 100 metres down towards the maindee hotel will have It. Mr Singh and his daughter are always happy and polite even tho some of the customers and people who hang around there are not so nice. Mr Singh makes it easy to support your local business.Edit. 23/11/21 Rip Mr Singh. After visiting the shop yesterday I learned that Mr Singh had passed away the previous day. Maindee will miss him. For the short time I had known him he had been nothing but friendly, helpful, kind and gentlemanly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time.”

“There are regular flights in from Dogpoo Land, excellent cuisine lying around in neighbouring properties, neglected litter trays for six leggers with wings to consume, and converse with one another. Great transport connections (especially if you're a fly). Some of the locals can be a little aggressive, but overall a great destination. Bzzz.”
