“The reversing light on my care wentout while I was out shopping, and the only place I thought would be Halfords in Newport. I am so happy there are there. I arrived at the store and went in, and I was immediately asked if I needed any help, I told the gentleman about my problem, he said he would get somebody to check it. Within minutes a young man came to me and we went to my care and he identified the problem and fixed it without any problem. I was so pleased and impressed, I thought I would leave a review. Also, the lady on the till was charming, and we even had a little giggle. Thank you Halfords.”

“Excellent outdoor activity store. Extremely wide range of gear from clothing to boots as well as tents, bottles, rucksacks and pretty much anything you might need when heading out into the great outdoors. The relocated store has much more space so provides probably the largest range under one roof, on the Isle of Wight.The only reason why I scored four stars rather than five is that on the day I visited, whilst the store was well staffed, they were all stood around a single till area and seemed only mildly more interested in the customers than continuing their own discussion. Other than that, a good place for outdoor gear.”

“My partner and I came in this morning and I just wanted to leave a review for the blonde lady with the glasses who helped us (really sorry I didn't get a name!). She was so helpful and had a really impressive knowledge of all the scents the various undertones in them. As someone who is just getting into fragrance it's nice to be able to trust someone who clearly knows their stuff! She asked the budget and we never felt like we were being up-sold at any point. We ended up getting an Invictus Elixir and a Gucci Flora fragrance and we got 20% off because my partner is a member - well worth it. Will definitely be back ?”

It’s not very often that you have a welcoming, caring and supportive security guard with a fantastic sense of humour who looks after the customers. Well done you lovely person.”

“Brilliant shop for everything needed for outdoor clothing and accessories. The shop is absolutely packed with goods and there is an upstairs with a massive amount of shoes and boots, best outdoor shop on the island.”

“I visited Friars walk store for 1st time today. I was looking for a particular item which I could not find. A lady called Jayne asked if she could help & I showed her a pic of what I was looking for. She said she would go & have a look out the back. She came back with exactly what I wanted & the correct size. An hour after leaving the store I realized I had lost the gift card that I had paid with. I returned to the shop & Jayne had found it & kept it behind the desk. I will definitely go back to this store again due to the customer service I received”

“The next shop is always clean , smart and on trend when it comes to fashion for you & for the home. Next have a incredibly collection of a gift sets of home aroma & ladies and gents scents. This store has disabled access and a incredibly disabled changing room. The staff are always helpful and they always make you feel like you matter.”

“I don't normally leave reviews but I felt I needed to me and my partner with two of our children went there yesterday ended up getting a fair bit where we couldn't manage to get it to the car ? the staff and I think the store manager went above and beyond even standing out in the rain helping pack my car. I can not thank them enough they were amazing and a real credit to the store. Definitely made my experience that much better. Nothing was to much trouble.”

“Huge store. Also has EE phone shop inside. Wheelchair accessible but there is a ramp up to door. In a manual wheelchair you might need help if not very strong. Standard Argos really. Also does eBay parcel collection”
