Easy DIY shopping experience

What a truly appalling experience with B&Q kitchens, feeling completely scammed by their practices. I was promised a 30% discount on a kitchen, explicitly told it ended on August 11th. Despite expressing my clear intent to proceed on August 8th and 9th ? well before the deadline ? I was left waiting. B&Q then conveniently waited until August 12th to contact me, only to cancel a booked appointment for the 13th and declare I was ?too late? for the discount. This feels less like a professional company being ?too busy? and more like they deliberately delayed to avoid honouring the discount. Even when I finally got through, the manager simply brushed me off, blaming the survey?s return date (August 10th) despite my prior expressions of commitment, without acknowledging any wrongdoing. The entire process was extremely disappointing, and the provided complaint line just rings out..(27minutes today) Beware of B&Q?s deceptive practices and abysmal customer service. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING

Asked for assistance from a guy named Josh who was working in the B&Q Newport branch.He took me to what i wanted straight away and even carried the self leveling compound i needed to my car for me as i forgot to get a trolley.
Josh's customer service was absolutely first class and B&Q should be very proud of him as an employee.

I have to leave this review, and I rarely do leave them. We were served at the checkout today by Saeed, and not for the first time. He's always looking out for the customer and is genuinely keen to find solutions and money saving mechanisms.
He is a born natural at customer service and clearly knows to work for his pay.
Whoever hired him should be thankful he landed in your lap.
Well done Saeed, your service has and always will be greatly appreciated ?

First I was looking for a bathroom light, I had a look myself and couldn?t find it, asked an employee hey do you stock this, she went ?it would be over there? then walked off. I don?t mind if she was busy or didn?t know, but surely she could have communicated that. From looking online I found b and q do stock the item but only for online delivery, so she told me to go look for a product they don?t stock. Very rude
Also don?t like the returns policy. You have to give them your postcode even if it?s for an in store return. I said I don?t see why they need it and I don?t want to give it, the employee just kept repeating it?s our policy it?s our policy, without explaining why they would need that (I still don?t feel they do)

unfortunately I have to dachshund negative opinions.I wanted to buy a couple of garden hoses and I checked if they were available in the store and was show me everything there. when I arrived it turned out that it was there but the staff did not know where it was. the staff is not helpful and does not care about anything. So flustered

Avoid at all costs. Months after having an item delivered damaged, I am still no closed to getting a replacement or a refund.

They had a chain unfortunately it was less than a metre long. They would only sell by the meter. It was all they had left at that size around 3 inchs long.
