They managed to fit me in at short notice, got the work done on time and cheaper than anticipated. Chris kept me informed throughout and I felt like a valued customer even though it was my first visit and a relatively simple job. These things go a long way in my book. “The reversing light on my care wentout while I was out shopping, and the only place I thought would be Halfords in Newport. I am so happy there are there. I arrived at the store and went in, and I was immediately asked if I needed any help, I told the gentleman about my problem, he said he would get somebody to check it. Within minutes a young man came to me and we went to my care and he identified the problem and fixed it without any problem. I was so pleased and impressed, I thought I would leave a review. Also, the lady on the till was charming, and we even had a little giggle. Thank you Halfords.”

“Had my rear brake discs/pads replaced last year at another garage for £250. Had my front brake pads/discs replaced at Advance Autocare, as they are local and had good reviews.I know fronts are more expensive than rears but these were more expensive than I thought they were going to be (based on the cost of the rear) but the difference in quality between the front and back discs is chalk and cheese. I now know why the other garage were so cheap and why my rear pads need replacing already after 10,000 miles (when I usually get quadruple that).Going to use these guys from now on as they obviously use quality components.Staff really helpful and friendly also.”
