Purchased a 50 inch tv and took it back within 2 hours because the screen was broken and back was scratched. The Manager Daniella refused to give me a refund or exchange and accused me of swapping the TV they had supplied with the same broken model. Do not buy from this shop unless you want to be scammed.

I purchased an I.T luggage soft suitcase a few weeks ago, after 2 flights the handle tabs for the zip had gone missing making it awkward to open and close, surely a poor design or manufacturing fault, Beverley I believe to be the evening manager thought she was either columbo or a psychic as she decided that it wasn't a manufacturing fault and it must have been the baggage handlers fault and they must have lifted the case fully loaded from one of the zip tabs. After several minutes of her trying to pull the wool over my eyes she finally decided I could have a replacement, then it wasntt in stock apparently even though the website states it did and I would have to take the faulty case home and follow the same process again when it's back in stock. Eventually I managed to get a refund but with more attitude as she was suggesting as I had it cheaper because of my nectar card I should have been happy with broken goods.
All the other staff in this Argos have been great in the past but this experience was less than satisfactory.
Beverley, I'm sure Argos have internal courses to improve customer service and satisfaction, I suggest you enroll one one of these.

It's Argos so nothing special. There are consoles to look at and order things on plus you can click and collect from there also

Delivery driver dropped my parcel on my car, damaged my car and my item and thought it was funny. Danielle Couzens one of the managers has a disgusting attitude, couldn't care less about my things being damaged. Was offered £15 refund for damaged items that cost £120 no compensation for my damaged car. Cctv was provided, never shop here again.

Every time I foolishly purchase something from here it?s a returned / opened item. £200 Lego set in battered, opened box and expensive Apple electronics that have been opened and used then returned. Avoid if spending over £20.

I had an exceptional experience at the Argos Sainsbury's in Albany Street, Newport, all thanks to the outstanding service provided by Mair. Not only did she assist me with my printer purchase, but she also went above and beyond to help me locate the receipt for an Oral B toothbrush that had a warranty. Her dedication, warm attitude, and constant smile truly set her apart. Mair's exceptional customer service skills and willingness to help deserve recognition, and I believe individuals like her should be rewarded with a raise. She made my shopping experience memorable and hassle-free.

Tried to return a tablet because item was faulty, the one woman examined it then refused an exchange or refund, so after I got home I rang back as I was not happy as there was clearly a fault as we only been using it for 8 days she gave me a number for customer services, I rang them explained about product and he gave me ref and told me to take it back to Argos as it's faulty and within the 28 days, and she still refused to exchange fix or give me a refund, because she looked at it and thought there wasn't a fault! told me it's a cheap tablet, £130 is not cheap! She mad me feel really small, took it to another Argos they looked at it and straight away said you can clearly see a fault with it and gave me a refund, I'd rather travel further and go to another Argos than go there again! She was so rude! I wouldn't even give them 1 star

Online it said same day collection once bought maybe the next !!! What a sham Argos anyway you lost the sale and we did get same day service at Curry?s and only spent £700.Be aware of this on collection probably in the small print SOMEWHERE !!!

I went there other afternoon cos it says closes at 9.30pm got ther at 9.05pm and it was closed.staff said it says on line it closes at 9pm.??? No 9.30pm it showing me??
