Was a funeral wake... the new owners did themselves proud with the food.

Went for the first time in years for a dear friends wake.
They did an excellent job of the buffet and looking after the mourners.
The landlord seemed happy to see us and grateful we were there.

The looked a lovely spot for a drink before checking into our Airbnb. The staff and locals very friendly. The toilets were horrendous. No toilet roll and felt dirty. Such a shame.

Really Friendly Visited Newcastle Emlyn for the day Three compasees was a fantastic little find. Really friendly, traditional pub. Made us so welcome by the owner & the locals, we will definitely be back on another holiday . Would have stayed the whole evening. Date of visit: April 2022
