“Good layout and easy to use, only criticism is the price of their cereal. If you don’t want to eat plain bran flakes, be prepared to spend £3+. Parking was also rather small considering that so many people use the store. Nevertheless, generally a good store and no issues with hygiene etc.”

“Premier St Dogmaels is more than just your average convenience store. It has a wide range of products that would rival Waitrose. It covers the basics, but also has some more interesting options that cater to a broad range of tastes. I'd only ever seen preserved lemons in a Yotam Ottolenghi recipe, and would never have expected to find them here. I had only ever seen plantain chips in Caribbean stores in London, so was bowled over when I found them, in a variety of flavours, here. Harissa paste - you got it! The range of products for such a small store is astounding. What makes the shop so good for the village is that it is a hub for everyone. The dedicated owner and her dedicated team of staff ensure that everyone is taken care of. Without the village shop the village would lose part of its soul.”

“We love coming down to stay in the area during the holidays! I hope the locals appreciate what a fantastic shop they have on their doorstep because we rarely shop elsewhere when we're down!”

“Although it can take some time to get in, they are pretty friendly in there and I understand the whole wait with Covid. They are keeping their staff and customers safe. Unlike a lot of places out there.”
