Really frustrated with Specsavers Neath, promised a call back last Friday, still nothing Monday afternoon. They sent a hospital referral for my mum, but the referral is totally different to what she was told. Hospital wait advises up to 12 months & my mums sight is deteriorating daily. No acknowledgment that she is a carer and relies on driving. Call the store & no answer.

They laughed at my daughter when she told them she was exempt from paying. They made us pay. Avoid these.

Had to book an emergency appointment and they managed to fit me in relatively quick, keeping me updated regularly and keeping me updated throughout the appointment on what assessment etc they were doing. All the staff I met with were great and very welcoming.

Very professional treated me with respect and listen to my needs, the dental practices need to take a long look at the way Specsavers treat there patients.
Note I was treated as a NHS patient.

Friendly staff and made me feel welcome. I was seen in under 5 minutes of my arrival, quick service. The lovely lady that done the test explained in detail about my eyes and the difference since my last visit.

Won't answer the phone, unable to book online to just reglaze my glasses, so called into the branch only to be told they won't reglaze if they aren't specsaver frames. Had to call back just for my prescription. All in all very poor service.

Unhelpful staff albeit well trained on the hard sell. Incompetent at booking appointments and conveying all pertinent information demonstrating lack of care or enthusiasm for providing a vital health service. Profits over people.

Made an appointment online for the Neath branch a few weeks ago. Appointment was supposed to be 0935 tomorrow morning. They called me at 1645 today to discuss as my daughter usually goes to the Port Talbot branch (couldnt get an appointment for a month here hence why I booked for Neath). The consultant was rude and lacked any emotional intelligence and customer service skills. Did not care that their process to review appointments should not be left until the day before said appointment. No accountability and blamed me as the customer (I should know that they are all franchises apparently). Would not hrecommend and would certainly never book an appointment there again. Called the Port Talbot branch straight after and they were like a breathe of fresh air. Going forward I would 100% wait longer to get an appointment at a branch where the customer matters and is listened to!
