Worst Costa I've ever been to. Many of the staff are abrupt sometimes to the point of being rude. There are one or two nice staff members but the others make it such a poor experience. The place starts shutting down at around 4 when they are supposed to be open until 6. I never feel welcomed there. This morning I was spoken to so rudely about a mistake the staff member has made. They made me completely the wrong drink and I wasn't rude I just pointed it out. She insisted I was wrong and had to pay more money. I did this of course but it was the way it was asked for and there was no apology. I know they made a mistake as they made me a drink I never order and don't even like.
I then had to leave my toast going cold and take my baby up to the till in the pram (because I was on my own with her). Then had to stand and queue to pay 20p!
The other member of staff was very nice but the tone and looks off the other one made me feel awful.
Go to Monty's instead or Greggs if that's too pricey. In fact any of the many other places in Neath who make coffee and are so much nicer.

Hate the prices. Hate the staff's attitudes, hate the food. I'm gonna stop here because I have NOTHING good to say.

The member of staff who greeted me was hostile towards customer walking through the door. It?s well noted that the store closes at 6 pm and it was dead on 17.30. I was told it was take away from the first sentence, when there were still people enjoying their purchases in the establishment. It wasn?t a problem but clarified that I could take an empty seat in the only non closed off area with the rest of the customers until closing. I was cut off immediately stating it is take away purchases only to take away from the establishment. The weather was not friendly and I advised I am awaiting being picked up and had no intention of generating a mess. Reluctantly and snapily the gentleman huffed and said fine and walked away without another word. Placed my drink on the counter and continue about his business. This negatively impacted my customer journey greatly, and after a long day working myself I find it highly rude. The only saving grace was the lady working who generated pleasant conversation to me, which filled the awkward silence before my drink was placed down. You need to employ more people like her, you might just retain some custom.

Called in to Costa Neath on Monday morning for coffee and a pastry. Greeted by 2 very friendly members of staff. I couldn?t get the Costa app to work but the man serving helped me to sort it out. Service was very good, coffee was made by Livi and it was lovely. Would highly recommend this store, nice atmosphere and great service!

I would give this place no stars if I had the choice, the woman who works there I?ve seen on multiple occasions now taking her anger out on her staff and is extremely rude, I almost bought food which was out of date if it hadn?t been for a lovely gentlemen telling me that they would swap it as they had noticed for me
The place looks lovely as there is a very hard working gentleman always cleaning the front and back of the shop but he doesn?t seem to serve often? I had asked him about it and he mentioned that he hadn?t been trained yet which is absurd for a company to not train their staff when they have worked there for a few months.
Would NOT recommend going to this place unless you want to hear the older woman screaming and shouting at the staff for small mistakes which by the sounds of it is the managers fault not their own

Sadly I was disappointed with my visit.I arrived at five thirty, close was six. I was informed that they were shutting as they only have two members of staff on. I've visited frequently in the past and when Josh worked there he even carried on solo. I ordered a mango iced drink and although I parked barely two hundred yards away there was no ice in it when I jumped in the car and sipped it. It also tasted syrupy and had a tang. As I was thinking what to do the staff that served me rushed past my car. What was meant to be a birthday treat ended up a waste of money and time.

Was served very politely by staff who were helpful in helping me choose what kind of tea I wanted ? the tea was lovely and it was a lovely cosy vibe.
