Having read about their ice cream we went in to try it. We travelled from Somerset to visit family and were not disappointed by the quality and taste of the ice cream. The taste is superior to Joe`s in Swansea and we will be visiting again.

Sunday roast was delicious with large portions of veg and meat . The staff were lovely and helpful.

My son and his 3 mates went here today to have icecream and get out of the heat. After they had ordered, they were told they were to get out and were not sitting inside,not one sign to state this. I phoned to question why apparently they were 'too loud' and not with an adult ( he said he wouldn't put signs up as he assesses them when they order) This is wrong. You discriminated against them because of their age. If you are not happy for them to sit in, tell them before you take the money from them. So frustrating to stereo type all young kids the same. Such a shame there are still the older generation around like the owner that is clearly an abnoxious old so so! I did swear once (which i regretfully apologised for) when I phoned as he was showing his arrogance during the conversation, but to make it sound worse the other end he kept repeating stop swearing, I will never step foot in here again, and i have told my children the same. (They have been regular customers and would have been throughout the summer too) Not all teenagers are the same, just like not all older men are as rude and judgemental as you!

Had breakfast this morning was lush! Had the standard brekkie with extra hash brown and black pudding, perfectly cooked, lovely service!! Thanks!!

Went for Sunday lunch. They brought 2 wrong meals before serving the lunch that was ordered...even though the tables are numbered. Price of the beef dinner has increased to £12.95 and the dinner was smaller than usual with no Yorkshire pudding. Very disappointing. Either put your prices up or reduce the portion sizes, not both

Ive had ice cream in so many countries! Nothing beats crescis so underrated! Much better than Swanseas rival ice cream by leagues!! I come here as much as I can!!!

Very poor service waited 20 minutes for a bacon sandwich in witch time my coffee was cold the cafe was not even that bizzy they seemed to only want to serve teas or coffees its not that they were short staffed far from it

Average priced greasey spoon cafe that also serves homemade dinners. Does what it says on the tin. If you want a reasonably priced run of the mill cooked breakfast, then this is fine, but if you're looking for good quality, locally sourced food etc, then you're going to be disappointed. As one of the only cafe remaining in the centre of Skewen, I was hoping the coffee would be good too - but it was really poor. Dreadful in fact. Given how well-known this place is locally, it really should be a lot better. Overall a big disappointment.

Won?t order again. Pros- good portions of vegetables and gravy ( tasty to be honest). Delivered on time, very friendly delivery person! Chocolate sundae was lovely! Cons- food arrived freezing cold, the smallest scraps of lamb I had ever seen. Three tiny slices of meat, gone in one mouthful. Waste of money. All in all, almost cost 30 quid, I personally thought I wasted my money. If you like cold food and your a vegetarian this is the place to order from

If you love proper Italian ice cream this is the place to go. don't go for the so called big boys in Swansea and the mumbles the ice cream here is far and away the best and where else can you get an amazing cooked breakfast and ice cream for afters
