Had Sunday lunch here while holidaying in the area - loved the atmosphere and the decor, the staff and service are top notch and the food awesome! Husband and son had a wonderful roast dinner, I went for the slow cooked duck salad and we all had desserts. Delicious and well presented. Brilliant meal and experience from start to finish, thanks to everyone concerned for making this a holiday highlight for us!! Add in the beautiful surrounding countryside and it's a great way to spend your Sunday!

Came here for our anniversary meal, very lovely looking pub and we were excited for our trip. The service was rushed and unwelcoming, our food arrived quickly but the meal was very cold and bland. Neither of us finished our food. We felt rushed by staff as if they wanted us in and out quickly. i?ve never left a review before but felt this one was necessary :(

Didn?t stay over just had Sunday lunch which was lovely. The service was very slow, shame as it was a lovely pub and a good Sunday lunch

Youre spiral stairs are dangerous...left youre hotel with 3 fractures...could not fault rooms and food..but this is a problem ...sorry but now i cannot go to work..for 6-8 weeks???

We stopped at this pub half way through our walk on the Montgomery tow path. Our meals were delicious and were served by friendly and friendly staff.

Decided to stop here for food after playing at Lakeside golf course. Glad we did. It was great service, and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend ? ?!

I didn't stay at the Nags head, so I can't comment on the rooms, but if the quality of service and food is anything to go by, I would assume they're spot on.
We arrived at 6 pm on a Friday without a reservation, having travelled for over an hour, desperate to find something other than the retro pub food offered by a majority of establishments in the surrounding area. The host managed to find space for us, and the meal that followed was exactly what we needed. I highly recommend eating here, but if you can book in advance so you're not disappointed.

Diner for four people last evening was a lovely experience. The place is immaculate, the staff are first class,the ales are well kept and the food was terrific.
I was particular impressed by the owner Aga, who took the time after the meal to speak to us first to ask if we had enjoyed the evening and secondly asked if there was anything we would like to see on the menu in the future .
Well done Aga and all her staff and don't let your standards drop.
