Quality products at above average prices, however very helpful staff. The store is let down by the disgraceful state of the toilets, the smell, leaks, rust, and wear and tear of the fittings. The cafe is dreary but food etc good. Again staff are v helpful. Corporate management need to get their act together!

It's true this Waitrose is smaller than the Abergavenny store but the day I visited I was pleasantly surprised to find more fresh fruit and veg here.It lost a star because it didn't meet the usual high standards of cleanliness eg there were partners tidying shelves near some saturated cardboard on the floor seemingly unaware and no hazard signs.There is a large carpark and the first hour is free but you must get a ticket to park when you arrive. I suppose it is camera controlled. There are options to pay to stay longer and £1 for an extra hour seems reasonable as it's very handy for the main shopping street in Monmouth.

Not good, main door not working have to walk all the way around to the back and back to the main street again need to sort it out ASAP, old people don't want to walk that far.

Pretty awful really. No sign of staff - until someone arrived behind us and literally shouted for them to come. Ordered a bacon roll and porridge, to be pointed to a chiller cabinet of prepackaged food. Told there was no scrambled egg. For £5 avocado on toast arrived as one small slice - it really was tiny . If this is typical of Waitrose, we are lucky to have Booths up north instead.
